Between 20-25% seems to be the prevalent selling price recently.

I am fairly sure I know where you got the 20-25 from, and I'd be surprised if 20-25 was anywhere near accurate.

yea i have been following the HSNL transfer thread and can't even recall if I've seen one deal closed at 25 or lower but that seems to be the number the lowballers are throwing around.

prepare to be surprised imo

Spoiler:
pleasantly surprised!

It seems AP deals go through at 13-18% often, and they're still up and running and paying out at extremely slow paces (though I guess future prospects aren't as good as FT if you can call FT good.) If the rate for FT$ is 20-25%, FT should just pay their pros to buy up all the debt available and lower their obligations.

i'll buy full tilt $ at 25% for banter
08-25-2011 , 06:48 PM
how does one buy ftp $?

can ftp lock your acc for doing that?

Don't watch this if you're prone to epileptic seizures...

You might remember my post a month or so about going through a 50BI downswing.... well it is now 5 days till I go on holiday for 4 months and I made it!

Only problem is the graph is in bb and because I moved down the $ is about half way back, still very proud of myself for making it through this.

posting something like that on a public forum, in a regs thread seems pretty ridiculous to me.

Sick level to get everyone to go play on everest while he rapes the soft Stars/Merge games imo

I played there for a while a couple of years ago, the software was the worst i've ever played on and it looks exactly the same still on the screenshot, i think nanonoko might be able to 6-table there. Not that theres ever 6 fr tables running above nl10. Funniest part was that there wasn't even a support e-mail to be found, you had to go on their website (which was often down) and post your questions in a form there.

First link is a statement made from Harry Demetriou

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...postcount=3230

Second one is from a former employee of FTP

(Zach, these are too long to cut and paste. You will have to click on the links to read and trust that they are legitimate links) (LOL!)

I played some of the other sites after FTP went down. They are indeed soft as hell but the software is beyond bad, you get through like 60 hands an hour at best and you are wasting your time unless you can get a game going at NL600+ which is a) hard and b) while softer than Stars, Merge, etc....the players at NL600+ aren't total 40%+ VPIP ******s.

Wish this was something I could care less about and could say TL;DR... but I read it all and it's not looking good.

What's stupid is, if these pros / management / rich people / possible investors pooled money together, they could find a way to pay out a majority, if not all of the US players once Black Friday hit. They waited too long, now they're not generating income and the name FTP looks worse and worse everyday.

They had a great brand name, they had great software, and they're throwing all of the money they spend on advertising down the ****ter. I wish this wasn't true.
