today i was playin with this guy and he raised 5.5bb preflp on the button. i limp reraised to 13bb with 55 in early position , he folded and said that was the worst play in poker. thoughts?

didnt think it was a set play, just a situational play. a few hands later it woulda done qq well to try this play from his sb w jj. would stacked the pfr from the button who had 1010...just sayin smartest azz ;p

It really all depends on the strengths and weaknesses of one's game. With Quads skill set and playing style it's probably terrible. There are advantages to it however depending on the makeup of the table and who might be easily exploitable.
