was there 5 times a week in aug -oct. mainly played 300, prob about once a week played 500. wouldn't be surprised if i've seen you. I was always wearing an SD hat. games are great on the weekends there.

Last I saw my interest rate was 0.05% I think? Lady was desperately trying to convince me to sign up for account for people with "high" balances that gave 0.4%!

For reference 100 years in the bank at 0.05% compounding annually I'd make $102.52 (would be slightly higher since most banks compound more often than annually but w/e)

lol american banks are ****ed up. i can get like 5% or more on a 'long term' deposit of 1-3 years. and not for ridiculous sums either.

just checked one bank real quick and it was 5.5% per year and you could do it for 1 month, 3 months or a year.

seriously though with a bank your money is safe at least. internet stranger can just take your 2k and never show his face again so there's that.

for example an ex 'friend' of mine in poker who I sorta trusted was soliciting donations on 2+2 for his gf/baby momma's cancer treatments but in fact was caught degen gambling with it at 5/10+ then never showed his face on 2+2 again (gobboboy and others ripped off to tune of 10k-ish). this was a few months after he binked a 130k sunday million btw. so ya, poker players gonna degen. banks gonna pay.
