TONZZZZZZZ
That's a pretty sick run from hand 564K to hand 800K. AIEV adjusted you hardly made anything. Really mindblowing that a good player can go through that kind of stretch.

But then that's made up by the fact that you have a couple of "holy mother of god" upswings.

yep that was a gross stretch! I swear I never ever ever ever tilt, but during that stretch I think the runbad was compounded by some poor play, as is tradition

that's when I game selected harder/didn't play so many tables/rush at once and was obv running well too, I think I won at 100nl for like 8ptbb over 100-200k hands or something haha

I suppose, though I should be in my 2nd year of law school right now had I taken one of my acceptances rather than being a semi-jobless (thanks DOJ) gambler

time to become a day/currency trading pr0 instead

To comment on some of your gear...

Pads: I like those pads. I owned a pair of the One80's and felt they were one of the most of comfortable pads I've ever strapped on. I ended up getting rid of them to get something a little more flexible though as I am not a pure butterfly goalie.

Skates: Awesome choice. I have the One80's myself and they help a TON with movement, especially when down and doing butterfly slides and backside recoveries.

Pants: Solid choice. Mine are Reebok as well.

Blocker and Glove: I know nothing about TPS gloves. I have never used that brand. I will say though that the people that have their gear seem to swear by it and won't switch.

Chest: Had a Vaughn chest protector when I was younger, don't know much about their current lines as I get really confused with what is marketed as pro level protection and what isn't. They only use numbers and V3 / V4 and all this crap. I do know a lot of people love Vaughn chesties though for mobility.

Stick: I am a Reebok guy when it comes to sticks. How tall are you? What size paddle did you end up getting? The Reebok 4k is like the heaviest stick they make haha. I found myself some Reebok 7k's online for sale @$50 a piece. Those are great composite sticks if you can find them.

http://www.goaliestore.com/board/index.php is a great resource for everything goalie.
Thanks for the input. Yeah, I'm so new to it that I more or less depended on whatever the sales guy put in my hands and went with it as long as it fit and did not cost a fortune. I'm really not particular about my gear in general - could barely tell you what equipment I have for defense. At this stage, comfort is king.

Day 2 was much better. Actually had some confidence, stopped a bunch of breakaways and 2-on-1s, etc. It was really cool to have like a 15 minute stretch where I was totally confident that they wouldn't score - kind of a quiet arrogance. The whole thing kind of broke down after an hour or so when fatigue robbed me of any ability to move. Back at it at 7:30 tomorrow morning!!!

FT has converted some of my tickets to FTPs, just received a rakebackpros transfer. Looks like they are on track to pay out balances. I'm guessing 4weeks before they allow us to cashout... and maybe another 2weeks before the $ gets to our bank accounts.

See you guys at the final table.

i appreciate the little victories in life. venom black mamba energy drinks (i highly recommend them btw, great value compared to monster, red bull, etc) cost like $7+ for a 4 pack in stores and my gym sells them in a vending machine for $1.50
