Agreed. Not to mention that FT's withdrawals were bork'd for a long time - FT withdrawals weren't really possible before Black Friday, so to assume that they could fix things any time soon would be really out of line. Its a waiting game.

FTP, under AGGC regulations, is not required to segregate player deposits from operating expenses, but must, at all times, have enough cash on hand to process withdrawals. If FTP commingled operating funds and player deposits, then it's possible the DOJ seized a substantial sums of money from both pools. The hold up is probably due to FTP needing to prove to the DOJ the exact amount of money necessary to facilitate player refunds.

Pokerstars did not need to work with the DOJ to facilitate player transfers because the funds were already held in segregated accounts, out of their control. It's possible none of the money refunded by Pokerstars was released from the DOJ seizures. FTP is probably in a much better financial position because of this.

I don't think people are as mad about their money being unavailable as they are about Full Tilt's lack of communication and transparency. Now they also refuse to convert FT pts to cash/bonuses/tournament tickets which Stars allowed.

In other news I beg my non-american friends who play Full Tilt to consider boycotting them. They are treating Americans disgracefully and holding our money. Now I find out that my 400k ft points arent going to become cash, they are going to become FTP Shop orders for god knows what that I will have to Ebay. Shameful. Please consider playing on Stars instead who did an excellent job of handling this stuff and aren't scummy.
the dumbest idiotic thing I have ever read. Do you want your money to vanish because the site you are telling peeps to stay away from collapses.... U DONK, Safe your ******ed talk till you get the money, until then play on FTP

Trip Report: France, Day 7

Travelling/working in a country where you can't play poker online sucks, especially when it's pissing rain, and gives me a taste of what life is like for our US brothers right now. Ugh.

Weather has been OK but not great, until today when I have to work again and it's absolutely amazing. Yesterday rode my bike to 2000 metres & got caught in a blizzard underdressed, got a little hypothermic getting home, nasty. Then today of course I can't ride and check out the weather in this pic. Taken from my hotel room balcony.

Chamonix has to be one of the most gorgeous places on earth. And the coffee is awesome. And we watched hockey at the Canadian run pub in town last night. @nosh Canucks are better. End report.

Does any one know about FTP's rake structure, f.e. at NL100 do HU, SH and FR have the same rake structure?

FWIW I just had about 280k FTPs returned to my account as a reversal of store purchases I made. wish they would have just processed the order but at least it's another of their steps to getting our cashouts completed
05-16-2011 , 02:45 PM
Obviously people are mad about their money being unavailable, and FTP's lack of communication and transparency makes it that much worse.
