1 birdie, 5 bogeys, 4 doubles

20+ mph winds today - 2-3 club wind. One hole I hit a 166y 6-iron, normally that would be a really easy 8I.

+5 on the par 5's again today (penalty strokes caused 2 doubles)

39 was the downwind 9 obv

+2 on the par 5's today so better???? I did manage to bogey one of them from 20 yards in front of the green in 2.

As a guy who plays a lot of golf I am still jealous you got to play the last 3 days in a row. Snowed a little today but back in the 40s tomorrow so I will be out. Much better on fives obv. Not nearly as bad as the double bogey I made on a par 4 with no hazards after my drive left me 105 yards dead middle of fairway.

Yeah and I almost passed since it was in the mid-60's today, especially since it's supposed to be back in the 80s all of next week again.

On the backswing of the chip I had a thought creep into my head "I never took a practice swing to see which way the grain was going", and I skulled it over the green.

Played in a four ball better ball. We got 45 points of which I contributed very few. I was hitting everything apart from the driver OK but wasn't sharp enough around the greens. I missed a six inch uphill putt on the thirteenth.

Just played 9 today, super muggy out. I know, feel bad for me.

Never really felt comfortable over the ball today. The hour long workout beforehand might have had something to do with it.

Got a tee time Sunday, probably find somewhere to play Saturday. Golf Now tee times going fast in Cleveland between people having off work and decent weather. Don't see many rounds in my future for Jan or Feb though.

No score, don't care. Played ~ 5 holes. Pretty darned nice for December 25 in Michigan, low 40s, no wind, no rain. Great walking conditions. Driver was good, irons sucked, chipping was hit or miss, lol putting. Good times. Dunno if I'll get out tomorrow before the rains get here, but regardless it has been a great fall/winter for golf.

Golf gets hard when you don't play for like 10 days. Playing with a bunch of people tomorrow at half way decent course so hopefully got the suck out.

Posted my all-time best 9 holes today playing with the family. Played from the tips as well.

5/7 fairways, 4/9 greens, 12 putts

Previous best 9 was even par on a few occasions.

Yeah I made everything from a reasonable distance. Did putt in from abou8 8 paces off of the green for birdie on one hole so a zero putt there. The other 2 birdie putts were a tap-in and about a 10 footer.

Went to an indoor sim at the golf course because there was way too much standing water to play. What an utter useless piece of **** it was. Didn't read any club path face info so had pretty much no real life use. Kept hitting cut shots but because they start left it assumes it is a hook and would just go a million miles left. Total waste, would probably be pretty fun piss drunk though.

Played the tough course today and my driver was all over the place. Did hit my all-time longest drive of 317 today and chipped in for the birdie though so some positives.

Played good today in the first time in forever. Could have been really low if I had made a few more putts. Was 39 degrees and the course was soaked. Doubt I got more than 2 or 3 yards of roll on any drive.

36 - 36 = 72
34 putts with 1 three putt
8/14 FIR
14/18 GIR

1 eagle, 1 birdie, 13 pars, 3 bogeys
eagle was boring, shortish par 5, good drive just missed fairway, 6 hybrid from 172 pin high 18 feet.

+4 39. 2 bogeys and a double to finish. Didn't hit anything particularly close, but kept it together ok, just punished for a bad blocked approach into the trees on the last.

Look at these 9-hole splits:

38-50--88

7 pars, 2 bogeys on the front
3 triples, 1 double, 3 bogeys, 2 pars (17 and 18)

Also managed to hit to 3.5 feet on a par 3 and pull a putt as bad as you could imagine and it lipped out.
