111 at Skylinks Blue tees (par 72/slope 126). Pretty meh result, couldnt hit irons at all, my iron swing is just jacked. More evidence that I am the least coordinated human being alive.

Played a quick 9 holes today at the county course (which looks and plays very well for a public course). Shot a 49. First time playing in over a year. Haven't been to the range or picked up a club at all really in that time as I've been pretty busy with work. Felt good. Had a few pars in a row and a disgusting 7 on a par 3. Other than that it was pretty much bogey/double bogey golf for me. Par'd 7 & 8 and lipped out my par putt on 9 from 25ish feet.

Will be playing more before the season is over for sure.

Played the Gatlinburg (TN) Municipal Golf Course today. The image is of #12 "Sky Hi" Which has a 200 foot drop from tee to green - 195 yards from the tips.

Nice course for a muni, with lots of elevation change of course. Only complaint was the greens were beat to hell and bumpy.

75 on a par 70 this morning. 12/18 greens but 36 putts including 4 3 putts. played the last 5 holes -2 so i think im starting to get my game back

43-44-87 best round ever by 8 shots! its a par 71 course.

Didnt loose a single ball, and got every drive into play. Also holed a 25ish feet birdie putt.

17: par 3 156m: 4i a little slice and a little to much tee box struck made it sligtly short of green. Chip to less than 2 feet. putt. 3
18: par 5: Drive sliced a lot after speed went of it. hitt tress, but stayed ok, trees in the way so whacked it some forward with PW. 250m in. 3 wood to 80m, but in the right rough, sliced. 52W to the green, about 5m. Putt, putt 6.

I think that is how it went down, didnt write anything down, and have turned in the scorecard for HCP regulation, but I usually have good memory with this.

I feel like I really need to practice pitching and middle irons from. If anything stands out please let me know, also I need to stop slicing, but on fron 9 I didnt slice the driver a single time, dunno what happened...

And Im a little ashamed of the "whack ins" with the PW, but currently it not worth the risk to try to do full LW.

Shot 34 (-1) on front of East course. Par 35 measures 3550 from back tees. Game is close.

Hit a 5 iron just over the green in front of the bunker on the left. I usually hit a 5i about 180.

Played Bear Trace at Cumberland Mountain today. WORST. GREENS. EVER. I posted this review on oob:

+4, 76 today. Hit the ball fairly well, but couldn't get any momentum going and faltered down the stretch as my driver got a little loose.

Meh. Hit the ball decent but had a couple awful chips. Putting was good. Lots of wind today.

64 today but it was a frustrating one. The course record at my club is 61 and my low is 62 and I have been going for it or to break it but fell short. I was -9 through 16 and need birdie birdie finish to tie on a 145 par 3 and then 385 par 4. Wind was kinda blowing and played the wrong shot on the par 3 leaving me 40 short of the hole and run that by like 4-5 feet and miss it coming back, no bueno and then par 18. Also 3 putted for par on the first hole which is a gimmie par 5 at like 485-490 dogleg left. Good score but still left hungry as I have been going for the CR for the last couple summers and havent got it and today was probably my last round. 9 birdies and 1 bogey though so I'm playing well but I want to shoot <60 on that course so I would need eagles. Need to putt better as well (basically just not 3 putt obviously), my putts gained was actually negative today... -1.079. To break the record I would realistically probably need to be +3.5 minimum

44 again on front nine. Blew up on 1 par 3 hole with a 7. And an 8 on a par 5. Other 7 holes on front played in +2. Yay me. Back nine not to good and had to pick up on one hole. Also was 1.5 foot from a hole in one.

Lol, just saw it online, and only did 86 strokes total. So beat previous best with 9 shots.

40-42-82. Ok I guess. Some good shots, some awful shots.

Kind of annoying last 4 holes. Felt like I left 3-4 shots on them. 2 bad drives, a couple bad chips, didn't make any putts to save myself.

Overall I hit it well and putt well. Lots of lag putting. Made a couple 4 footers for my 1 putts. Just need to focus a little bit more and not have those loose shots.

46-48 - 94. Played one ball again, walked in about 96 deg, pretty hot.

Wedges were on fire--up & down on 6 of first 7 holes, longest putt was 15 feet, rest were <5 feet. Lipped out a 110 yard wedge. Then a 3 putt on 8, which wasn't even that bad, just a tough up-down-up 40 foot lag leaving 10 foot follow. Got stuck in wet sand by the green on 9, tripled it.

I was actually lacing my driver today, typically around 270, but the irons were off. Too many skulls and fats, but got bailed out by super long pitches and chips.

On the back 9, my driver was working great (two shots near 300) right until the head flew off on 13. Just flew off. No break or anything, just flew right off the shaft. Things started to unravel a bit after that. I'm playing with an old 3 wood, and just cannot seem to hit it lately. Tried a few times, and off the fairway, but nothing doing again. So I mostly teed of with my 3h and just worked with less distance. Only got a single par after that (had gone par on 10-12) with the lone highlight making a 40 foot angled downhill putt for the par. Had two stroke + distance penalties on lost balls (which weren't actually bad shots, they just weren't where I expected them to be), and started landing long wedges just off the green.

Just when I got the driver working...
