Heading down on Thursday. Should be awesome fun, really backing Fisher to take it down. Him and my elder brother used to play golf together when he was younger.

Already have a place to stay in st andrews for 2010, sick life.

At St. Andrews there were nice shuttles from the train station to course. Much faster than getting stuck in traffic. Although, I have to say any American will laugh at this 'traffic'. A Phillies game e.g. takes 1hr+ just to get out of the parking lot. At St. Andrews one day we drove 30k to the course, parked, and walked a short distance.

It's the specifics of where from and when he intends going Troll. Sunday train service from Aberdeen doesn't start till mid-morning, he will get to Turnbery just in time to see the winner coming up the last.

Traffic wise, he's coming from the far side of the country, google makes it over four hours, although I think being a Sunday morning, he could do it in three if he nips on, but he's American on British roads, not sure how confident he would be? And like I say, once past Glasgow he will pretty soon be off the dual carriageways. He needs to allow that 4 hours unless he's got someone driving for him.

Tiger had another look at Turnberry as he prepares for the British Open. Woods teed off on the Ailsa Course early Monday morning and was finished as some players were just arriving.

He had 15 clubs in the bag—one over the limit when the tournament starts Thursday—but was likely to take the 5-wood out and use his 2-iron to keep the ball flight down.

I drove down to prestwick a few weeks ago (which is pretty much turnberry) in just under 3 hours but I have the adv of knowing where the speed cameras and traps are located

Hate to qoute this post again, but this is awful news. How can the BBC be that low budget?

Whats the reason for this?

Heck, even the snooty French don't insist that we call their tennis open "The Open".....

Yup thats what I figured, everyone should see the 2i stinger he hits. I know this might sound corny, but I got the chills when I saw him hit it at the PGA at Southern Hills in '07.

I don't get the Sergio love on the betting lines.

I'm thinking of a gambool on Mahan (30-1). Any good reason not to?

mahan at 28/1 on bodog is a great bet. kim is probably good if you can get him around 40/1. ogilvy too, even though he is slumping. cabrera and johnson at 66/1 are both good value picks. kj choi and duval at 80/1 are my faves right now.
