On #17 in round 3 Patrick Reed took an unplayable lie drop after "positively" identifying his ball with binoculars that was lodged in a palm tree. Video evidence later seems to show his ball flying into and not coming out of a different palm tree. There were three palm trees within approximately 7 yards of one another.

Well, that is just super shocking.

This post is so laughably disingenuous.

They left the tour to go to a competitive tour. Why should the PGAT and/or DP simply permit them to decide when and where they play? Part of being on a tour is understanding that a lot of your livelihood depends on sponsor $$ and the like. The Tour needs to appease those other parties and there are likely expectations written in to contracts and such. They got their money...go have at it. But you made a decision that had consequences, consequences they were aware of before they made said decisions.

BTW can they just pick and choose to play other tour instead of playing a Bonesaw event? I think not.

Do the other tours offer guaranteed contracts and are the part of a season long team competition? PGA players are skipping PGA events to play DP tour and PIF funded Asian tour events.
