My own course management is probably in the bottom 2% of people that play golf, and Rahm just seems LOL terrible at strategy.

I mean a birdie/eagle in whatever combination would probably get him to a playoff with Rory.

lol right.

hole-in-one and then birdie OR birdie and eagle #18 ... OR, you know, lock up valuable OWGR points and $$$ (when winning was not remotely realistic standing on #17 tee).

That was about a $500k splash for Skid Row Tommy

What was the story with Rahm and his caddy?

caddy knew Rahm shouldn't have gone for the green with his 2nd shot from the fairway bunker on #11 ... caddy tried valiantly to talk his man off the shot ... hothead Spaniard didn't listen and took himself out of the tournament with the swing by hitting the ball into the water (where it was always going to go ... like the caddy knew from the beginning).

hothead Spaniard spends the time walking to the drop zone having a "discussion" with his caddy.

Rahm is a guy that is 24 looks like he is 40 and you just love to hate. So close for Furyk Tabatha aging really well

He's the guy who enjoys discussing anal beads on Twitter.

is rahm thinking his caddy's lack of confidence in him negatively affected his shot? i.e. negatively affected rahm's psyche.

How about Fluff 43 years as a caddie Dude is 70

I think Rory is as good a pick as any of the others. He will eventually play to his potential there and win by 3+, no reason it won't be this year with his focus on US events.

I'd book as much Spieth at 10-12:1 as I could find.
Bump, McIlroy now solid fav for 2019 Masters. Spieth has since forgotten how to play golf and I am now in process of arbing my 12:1 book at 26:1 and locking in profit.

He moved up to 4th. Pretty sure Golf Channel had it updated last night on their crawl.

FYP. It probably really annoys him to be called a "Spaniard".

ah i see it now. it was strange it showed his win under events played, but no change to his rankings. i also couldn't go from top 100 to top 300, so something was up with the site.

Furyk from #167 to #57 ... a real shot at making the Masters now.

Nah, I think Rahm was just being an idiot there.

I actually played junior and high school golf against his caddie. He had a pretty decent temper back then, but suppose a lot of kids do. Its cool to see him becoming a somewhat famous tour caddie. He had to be pissed since that play probably cost him a lot of money as well.
