Yes, within the Garmin Golf app there is a section that is called "my bag" here you will see a list of golf clubs. Within my bag you can delete, edit, add, or retire any clubs. You are able to add your custom clubs here and give a nickname for the clubs as well so you can help distinguish them better.
I might have to return the launch monitor. It arrived yesterday and I rushed out to the range to see how it was. The main reason I bought this is because I need to know how far I hit each of my clubs. I had a few lessons this year and have made some improvements but because of that I am flying most greens. I really don't know how far I hit my clubs anymore. . I used to always be short of the green, which I actually prefer in general. It's not like I could play 4 or 5 days a week And figure it out. I could play once a week and then practice for a little while three or four days a week.

The app gives you data and pretty pictures but there is no way to combine the practice sessions. Each session is independent from the other. I'm not even sure what the point of "my bag" is. I thought that's where I would find the averages for each club, but no.

I was reading the Garmin forum and going back 10 months people suggested they add this option to the app. Well, without it I am left having to figure it out myself with paper and pencil! Maybe I am just venting right now and I will give it a little time, But if they have not implemented this by now I'm not very hopeful.

Yeah seems a bit iffy that isn't a feature.

Other than the Trackman or toptracer range's I'd suggest looking into shotscope for on course stuff, Shotscope isn't perfect but it's helped me a ton to know my yardages. I think Garmin and Arcos have the same thing but I haven't used them so can't tell you how good they are, Once you have a good number of rounds within them you'll know how far everything goes.

Everyone has different usage needs and desires and I can understand why you'd be annoyed by that. For me, that's a pretty minor inconvenience.

When I finish a session (based on my whopping 2 session sample size) I review and delete any crazy outliers if I haven't done that already, then I've got the summary by club of averages plus min and max. I have a little spreadsheet started since I want to see if there is change due to ongoing swing work and (someday) fitness.

I will say that the Garmin Golf app is a little underwhelming. There is a lot of potential that could be unlocked with this device but they definitely do not make it easy to get and manipulate data.

I don't know you are on their forum, but I just joined and "Garmin Rob" is very fast to respond. I also asked if there was a way to change the color of the LW & SW since I'm color blind and can't tell the difference on the spray chart. There is not. He's adding me to the "tickets" for those 2 items and engineering will look into it. He said “Feature requests are typically prioritized based on popularity and that is why adding you to these tickets is crucial. Any time feature requests are implemented, it is not out of the ordinary for it to be a year or two down the road.” So I'm not holding my breath.

I really have not ventured onto their forum other than a google search result when I googled whether data could be exported. Like your experience, the thread on that had the same response, we'll add a ticket and it'll be a while. I didn't spend further time on it as I found what I was looking for elsewhere.

I have read a lot of launch-monitor-related threads on GolfWRX and the takeaway to me is that every devices has its limitations or compromises. Just a matter of sorting out what you can live with.

I actually find it a bit baffling this isn't standard.

Here is a thread from 10 months ago about the same thing. I was pretty close to buying this but now I wouldn't really bother unless this feature was incorporated.

This guy might have a small solution to the problem you're having but it's not ideal.

Got in two more very short sessions with the R10 this weekend. Went to a different range on Saturday evening but cut it off quickly when it started to rain -- didn't really want to have either the Garmin or my phone out. Got in a little longer session yesterday before my round mostly working on driver.

Two observations -- First, I think the total distance is running about 10% short compared to real world numbers, both with driver and with 7i (the only two clubs I've used so far). I'm going to make sure I have the most recent firmware and make sure any other calibration that needs to be done is handled. Second, if I want legit data I need to pay more attention to how I get it set up -- if it's not aligned correctly, is off kilter or whatever you get garbage direction numbers (and probably others too). I won't go back to the range I visited on Saturday because the ground is super uneven and the grass is not maintained well.

Dunno if this thread has the right traffic or if there are others but looking into a golf trip potentially just 2-3 guys total. We’ve done gambling trips for years vegas usually then Tahoe + skiing lately. Now looking to potentially do a Golf + gambling trip, any good suggestions for a trip like this Greenbrier/turning stone come to mind but other options would be invited. Caribbean/AZ/?? Could even be convinced just to do all golf at a fun enough resort type setup. Leave suggestions

what time of year are you thinking and how serious are you about the golf? does travel distance matter?

So October is most likely also a chance it’s winter ish which would clearly mean deep southern options. Distance doesn’t matter. And I’d say we’d like to play some nice courses probably 12hcp types but reasonably willing to spend for nice tracks

a majority of the country is more than tolerable in October, early or later in the month matters.
what's your group's thoughts on playing in a drizzle or sprinkle? do you typically walk or ride? how did you gamble when you were on those trips? poker, tables, machines?

Recommendations for a range bag? Maybe something that holds 4 or 5 clubs. Has to be tall enough for a driver and I'd also like a pocket to hold my Garmin launch monitor and a few balls.

Ride would walk for a top tier track caddie etc. gamble just tables plus VP no real poker likely

if you go early in october, this may just be a really solid value (or not). weather that time of year can be fickle, but your odds are likely more in the good.
play Salish Cliffs in WA and stay at the Little Creek Casino.
WA has different gambling laws from NV, so please look up their gaming site before you book so you won't be surprised

Played at my club yesterday. Two groups of women teed off before us. Then the guys in front of us said "this will be a slow round." As the guys in front of us were on 2 green the second group of women were walking off 3 green.

So yeah, slow due to you guys.

You probably dont care that much about DP World Tour but it was a huge week for Poland.

We finally have a winner on DP Tour.

Meronk on his 2nd year on DP finally got a W (with a birdie-birdie-eagle-par finish to win by 3)
He was in a few final pairings this season already.

Now 7th in a yearly ranking, playing his 2nd Majors in few weeks. With all the guys on a LIV, maybe Ryder Cup team is possible

I didn't even know they had golf courses in Poland. Just the other week I talked to a guy in Lithuania who was going out to play. The game is growing!

Went on a golfing trip to Poland (Gdansk) a few years ago - had a great time.

One of the courses had the first, and so far only, par 6 hole I've ever seen/played.

Rosa Private Golf Club
afaik "private" in US means You cant play it unless You are a member ?
This one says it's private, but everyone can play it

There is also "Modry Las" golf course, designed by Gary Player, which was in top100 european courses one year. Havent played it, heard its great.

"Sand Valley" - this one is very good
Personally I love "Kraków Valey golf club"

A week ago they have opened a new one "Black Water Links golf club"
