I'm sure they will be, but I'm guessing a decent amount of people will have to work on Monday and will sell their final round tickets. Any tips from anybody on best way to get tickets?

Very sad that May wasn't able to use that as a springboard. Fantastic performance, better than most major champions never mind runnerups, and if not for the mystery of Tiger's 2nd shot on 18 in the playoff...

Gonna be a long day tomorrow, but with the split tees for Round 4, they should get it in. I'd have to think Romero has a huge advantage being done already, and +2 may well be solo first and by more than 1 stroke once the final round starts.

But Lord only knows what'll happen. Full-blown turkey shoot now. If Pudgy can make eagle first thing in the morning after sleeping on it all night he might run away with it. Won't hazard a guess, but I'm looking forward to watching it.

I didn't look very hard, but that is all that I found. I also don't know the weather forecast for tomorrow -- I have heard google is useful (don't know much, do you kid<--directed at me).

I predict that they play the whole thing tomorrow. If not, that admissions will be free on Monday.

The weather was fine and the storm was made up by the network so they could broadcast a PGA event that Tiger is playing in and in the Hunt. Why do you think they rarely mentioned that this was a previous match being played due to a fake weather delay.

Ratings shot up 18% once fans found out Tiger was on Tv and in the hunt for a PGA championship

Any idea if there will be any tv/online coverage for the remainder of the 3rd round in the morning? Tried to find something on pga.com, but couldn't

I guess no one got up early to watch the tournament?

JB Holmes held up pretty well.
Charlie Wi slipped a bit.
Ben Curtis doing well in attempting to stun everyone with his 2nd major.
Padraig laying claim to being the 2nd best player in the world.
Sergio laying claim to being 3rd, best with no major wins.
Stenson trying to get his name into the casual fan's vision.

My prediction:
Sergio - 1st (thanks Tiger for not being here)
Padraig - 2nd, one shot behind
JB Holmes - 3rd

It is painful to watch how slow J.B is with his routine, it reminds me of Sergio at Bethpage.

May have to crank up a bit of my anti-Sergio juju to save the day. And if only we could convince Romero to look away from a pin or two...

Slept through the 3rd. But I see they have their single group scheduled for 2:00est -- and the 2:00 pairing is the second to last group, so I'd expect a pretty late/good pairing for that coverage.

Well, Wi only shot one over so I wouldn't really call his slipping. When they came on air he had a very short putt to go one under, missed it, then bogeyed the next. So in a short window he did lose a couple of strokes, but on 17 and 18 he made nice par saves.

I don't think you can underestimate Stenson. He always goes toe-to-toe with Tiger in Dubai - albeit he lives there so maybe that helps him - and I remember his utter domination of the WGC match play last year and most of this year. Guy can bring it. At the moment he is my favorite to win but obviously it's wide open.

Also, J.B. Holmes is one of the six or so players the anonymous SI pro cited as being the slowest on tour in a recent article. I didn't notice it until this morning.

I don't get how they put together the tee times. I see they are sending the tail of the field off the back-- so you have guys going out much later than other guys with much better scores. Is it darkness or weather that they are afraid of?

re Stenson
I agree. He's a triple in R1 from being in the driver's seat. I thought of mentioning him, but the thing that loomed large in my mind was watching him unravel on the back at Dubai this year-- obviously steaming.

I hope they don't take one of the groups starting on the back...

They're never going to send someone off the back that has a better score than someone off the front. So the last group to go off the back (2PM or whatever) are going to be the first three behind the first group to go off the front. They were interviewing Paul Azinger and he seems to be one of those. It would suck to be sixteen shots out of the lead and having to tee off at the same time as the leader, but then again that's the way they do it in non-majors.

Possibly both. The reasoning is that they want the leaders playing 1-18 in order as the last group to tee off, and they just go reverse order from there. So you have the players with the (presumably) lowest scores coming to 18 in order at the end of the day.

I'm walking awfully quickly if I'm the last group opening off 10. I really don't want to play 9 in search of T54 after the winner is decided.

eta: the problem is the folks in front of me obv

They are headed for a train wreck on the 10th tee. Look at the starting times.

Also, I think it helps Wi that he didn't have to sleep on this.

Oh yeah I think rianb is right; the absolute worst scores will tee off last on 10, whereas first off of 10 will be the guys right behind the first group on one score-wise. I think. It makes my head hurt. I just know nobody on 10 has a better score than anyone on one, and that's all I know.

I've decided that I'm fine with anyone but Holmes winning. Sergio doesn't bother me really, in fact I'd like to see him get that monkey off his back.

Okay. I'll try to use my powers to influence the winner only for good then.

Stenson isn't really "lol", he could still get a par pretty easily after that second given where the flag is. Holmes, on the other hand, is soon to go into televised golf's equivalent of the Witness Protection Program, where you only see him in the background of other player's shots. So my wish will be granted early.

That said, I think they both hit a really terrible drive and that Holmes just got really unlucky relative to Stenson.
