Looks like CBS has hired Dottie Pepper as their replacement for Feherty, first broadcast for her will be this weekend. Strong pick if you ask me, I think she has always been honest and fair. I imagine she'll be at Augusta too.

Im not watching the broadcast but how come they suspended play now? Is the weather conditions worse now than 1 hour ago? Seems pretty unfair to do it now
seems like the weather got much worse. much more rain and tons of wind (not sure if it was much more wind).......... watching casually while doing other stuff i didn't notice alot of wind....
so it'll mostly finish tomorrow (if not 100% tomorrow) and i assume excellent chance for amazing scoring conditions..... question i'm sure i know the answer to: do they keep the setup the same? the vast shortening of the course isn't considered inclement weather set-up?.. i'm pretty sure the whole round must play the same for everyone. i do remember reading or hearing about johnny miller imploring them to put water on a green partway through the round and they did. but that's different than this.... and cancelling the players 4th rounds and starting over they usually do when only a few people have been out there (if my memory serves me correctly that they did this)...
is brandt the only guy under par today?..... basically it reminded me of colin montgomery at pebble beach where many gave him the 1992 (???) USO because conditions were so bad and he was so far ahead (on the course) of most of the other challengers even though his score wasn't amazing. same today. they basically were giving snedeker the tourney even though guys were 2 shots ahead of him... anyway, at USO, kite pitched in on the horrendously windy 7th and won the tourney (7th, ie. 100 yards, was brutally difficult that day)
