People only reverse sandbag when they get near scratch.

Not sure this applies to the super rich/famous.

DL3 to captain US again in 2016 per Tim Rosaforte.

Perhaps he's getting the nod over Couples because he'll still be playing the regular tour.

What is the PGA of America doing

Just give the job to Azinger again

The stuffed shirts win again. Couples deserved his shot at it... or Zinger again would have been ok but Davis Love? Burn it down and come back with Davis Love? Wow.

If true this is laughably bad. Think I'd rather have Furyk do it and I can't stand Jimmy

Riviera was supposed to mark the return of Victor Golden Hands Dubuisson to the USA but apparently he has withdrawn, leaving me bummed

this

Payne Stewart's tragic passing had a huge impact on the Ryder Cup imbalance we have experienced over the past 15 years.

Anyone attended a tourney at Riviera? Is it a decent spectator course?
Thinking a weekend Commerce trip with golf thrown in might make for a decent weekend.

Number ten at Riviera is on Live@ all week. Right now the hole is playing at 4.3, 2nd hardest hole on the course, for a 312 yd par four. Already some highlights:

Perez letting out his usual F-bombs, then leaving his first bunker shot in his own footprint.
Scott Piercy going back and forth and back and forth in the front and rear bunkers. The last threesome made three fives.

That is amazing.

Also, Singh and Goosen leading? What year is this?

Are the 2 major golf websites (PGA and GC) the worst mobile websites in the planet?

Atleast PGATOUR's iPhone app is ok.

Their website is an eyesore though

On hole 6 in Riviera there is a bunker in the middle of the green.

If you hit the bunker is it a GIR?? It doesn't seem to make sense if it was, but then it is not a greenside bunker ??

Just curious.

Not sure about mobile sites, but I have pretty fast internet at home and the pgatour.com site and cnn.com site are by far the slowest sites I have ever encountered on my laptop.

I gave up on both of them.

I should add that both these sites were recently changed, and both were made worse and less user friendly.

No GIR, but of course it is a greenside bunker. Gotta be on the putting surface for a GIR.

I wholeheartedly agree about the recent change at cnn.com. The page seems to load, then changes positions right when I'm attempting to click a link. And then changes yet again a moment later. Some of the videos/slide shows are too big for my screen. Glad I'm not the only one who detests it.

And with pgatour.com I now use it perhaps 10% of what I used to. Just going to get all my news from golfchannel.com and the golf section of espn.com.

Went from going to be a hole in 1 to off the green, brutal.

Sir Nick with a good zinger on Chamblee at the last. Pretty entertaining round. Forecast for rain tomorrow will at least make it softer, but not sure it will be any easier. Lots of strong golfers chasing the Goose

NXT, What don't you like about the PGATour App? I actually like it a good bit.
02-21-2015 , 09:23 PM
The app is fine. The website is god awful
02-22-2015 , 08:39 AM
Yea I have problems pulling anything up on the website with my phone. Also if I click a link posted by someone on Twitter for example, it'll simply go straight to the homepage and not the article itself. Useless.

Furyk will come from behind to win this
02-22-2015 , 12:23 PM
Gogo Spieth

Also - how did Sergio end up in that bunker on 10?
