Kinda cringeworthy when Kelly Tilghmann proclaimed Walker the money leader and (more importantly) the FedEx Cup leader

Rory is just a kid out there having fun.

So I just started betting NFL for fun and was wondering if anyone on here bets the PGA besides the majors? Seems like it takes a good amount of effort to handicap the entire field but maybe the lines aren't that sharp week in and week out. Not looking to bet any real money just looking at it from the challenge side of it. If this isn't the best spot for this fine just figured there would be more interest here then the sports betting forum

Hopefully now he will be. Didn't seem like it last season.

I love betting golf. The matchups are much more reasonable than trying to pick the actual winner. Online sights usually carry all the tournaments and have both daily and tournament matchups. I find in Vegas, most sportsbooks push golf to the back, especially during football season. The matchups wont be posted on the board and you will have to look for a sheet. I also play fantasy golf for money.

Best strategy: Find someone you think is going to play poorly go against him.

PS - The vig on golf bets is usually jacked up.

Looks like most of the big names are skipping Vegas this week also.

Grand Slam of Golf

I noticed they got 3 of the 4 major winners this year, but this event can't ever seem to get all four to show up. It would seem it would be a nice couple days of golf + beach with no pressure and a big guaranteed paycheck.

I'll fill in

Tiger skipped this also. I kind of think it just doesn't work anymore? Though free trip and free cash

Who do you think will win more tourneys from now on: Jordan Speith or Rory McIlroy?

This question was posted on golfwrx and the poll is 54% to 40% in one person's favor and I'm wondering what people think here.

Spieth

WGAS what a bunch of randoms think about a totally stupid question that won't be answered for 20+ years? Not to mention lol samplesize.

Seriously though, all this is simply flipping a coin. I respect the top golf minds in the game, but even their opinion wouldn't matter on this question.

Too much recency bias in picking Spieth. He has been great so far and is younger, but Rory has two major wins (by a combined 16 strokes!!!!) and is a former world number one. Speith has 1 tour win at the John Deere...

FWIW I didn't look at the other site's poll before weighing in.

I would have to say Spieth as well. He's been balling for so long. I wouldn't be surprised if neither won next year though.

Well sure we can, I was just offering one opinion regarding the question posed.

I'll go with McIlroy. He's had a tough 2013 but I'm predicting a return to form.

Rory simply has much more raw talent than Spieth. He'll get his head back on straight and start dominating again.

Guys going super low today. JJ shoots -11 and Romero is -10 under thru 16.
