I played that course last year and it is defintely the hardest course I've played. With nine holes to go he is still in it though!

The Mechanic tied for the lead on the back nine in Euroland.

Would be nice with a three way playoff

What a legend he is

yup, he is .... strange but not sure this story is getting much attention in canada. maybe it's come on too fast...

what is the reasoning behind 30 minute gap in coverage? so i can switch to something else??

Is the App play by play correct. Weirs 4 birdies in first 5 holes have come from 7 feet, 3 feet, 3 feet, and 18 inches??

Some serious strokes gained in that stretch

This would be one of the more the epic wins ever if Weir pulls this off.

Looks like no dice for Weirsy.

Nice payday though for Weir

Great performance by Weir

The dude is 44, short, skinny, and had a major injury. Amazing performance.

Man another first time Tour winner. Crazy how good/deep the fields are nowadays. Literally any of these guys can win if they have a good week. Not so at all back 30 years ago and prior.

He played well all week. Does this propel him to a renaissance performance in weeks to come or does he go back to making cuts on the number and finishing T72?

Good question. Is the injury behind him? He needs a few more top tens and his card is secured for next year.

So second paid $745,200.00 what does it take now to retain a card $ wise

i'd say weir is generally back... he had completely lost his swing. i don't think he'll lose it again... having said that, completely shocking result....

In the past three seasons, it takes $6xx,000 to crack the top 125 on the money list. So his finish this week should be enough.

Did Tim Herron make his 232K or whatever he needed to keep his card? I'm guessing no.

Talk about pressure. Want to keep your card? Go make 232K this week playing golf. lol.

Man was really hoping for weir but a second is still pretty sweet.

Better question is whether or not Weir will make the Playoffs. Card is probably monetarily secured. 87th in Points now with about 3 months to go.
