Hope to be there in less than a month with jose again! This year the plan is to rent a house for 6 months and grind a little bit more than we did last year. also workout more! Really looking forward to go there again and barcrwal with you all!!

i'm currently dedicated to bankroll rebuilding, and phuket's not really the ideal environment for that. here at the bungalow my expenditures are minimal and i'm getting a lot of good work in. I also want to experience more rural thailand before i dedicate to a new lease in Phuket.

Don and Ael are down here for the next week. I might come back up to PKT when they go back, but then, probably only for a few days.

anyone know of any board games that would be good for teaching low level thai/english vocab and sentence structure?

im trying to think of a fun way for me and a thai girl to help eachother learn. scrabble, pictionary, and boggle seem like they would work ok but not really optimal

left my iPhone is some random taxi. its got like full battery, so i got like a day for someone to pick up... if you call, and somehow get me the # of the person who has my phone so i can get it back, i'll give a big $$ reward.

beat: the taxi driver probably is gonna jack it as olli decided to stiff him cause he missed a uturn, but its on vibrate so hopefully some random foreigner (or thai girl!) picks up.

Going to White Box at Kalim beach(1 min outside Patong) tonight. Gonna have dinner at either Joe's Downstairs or White Box at 9ish and from 10.30 to 1 Maddie has a gig on the rooftop bar/club if anyone wants to come.

Could someone give me a quick rundown on how VAT tax refund works? If I buy some expensive **** (let's say a laptop) and write the tax refund receipts at the shop, I will just get some rakeback next time I fly out from bkk?

yeah in phuket there's a "VAT REFUND" stand at the airport. Im guessing its the same in bkk.
also you have to have bought the item within 2 months of leaving (or go to the shop and have them change the receipt for you :O )
