redic more material out there to get good in Spanish compared to tagalog. tagalog online material is terrible. pimsluer seems only legit course there is for tagalog really. you cant get past beginner stage with it

'teach yourself tagalog' book and accompanying audio is ok

on piratebay theres a several gigabytes torrent language pack with that and a bunch of other stuff

tagalog easier cos really ur learning taglish, girls are more comfortable mixing the 2 languages a bit, not full on tagalog

when i say learn spanish i mean like find ways to finish 'de donde es' in ways other than la biblioteca

yes its a waste of time, but 90% of the filipinas ive been with in the past 2 years were non pros
