Pretty personal obvious but ok, fwiw; im 25 and am takin it easier than a couple of years ago;

Girls;

Maltese girls are alright, dark hair and good bodies, outgoing and very kind and polite, no matter how they appear.

If you dont like them there are always ofcourse tons of other nationalities on the island, think of; Scandinavians (Lot of them work in igaming) Italians, Spanish (Language Students) Eastern Europeans (They work mostly in Hotels, Bars and Clubs) And in summer obvious tons of tourists.

Nightlife;

I think youre gonna love Paceville if youre ~20yrs old, gets extremely busy in summer, but also if youre older i think its just a case of finding the right bars and clubs to go.

Cost of living;

Normal overall for European standards, though cost of rent is really cheap.

You can play on stars and yes you need a visa afaik.

Hey guys one more question about Malta. What is the tax situation there, and if there is any how would it affect me as an American who wouldn't stay in Malta more then 3 months at a time.

If any american has done this before, what was the best way to about dealing with withdrawing and getting money while over there?

Food, isnt far off London prices, if not a little more. Drink is cheaper, maybe 2 euros for a vodka mixer and 2.5 to 3E for a beer. Accommodation is cheap especially if u plan on moving here during the off season. i.e not the summer. EG: £bet all ensuite all double sea view 1500 euros between 3

Just for your inf :

When it comes to renting an apartment in malta for a long let (i.e. minimum of 6 months long) there is no such thing as low and high season. prices will be the same all year round if its for a minimum of 6 months. Low and high season rates only apply when renting a property of 5 months or less. This will then be considered a short let and daily rates will apply. Of course then there is low and high season just like renting a room in a hotel

btw - 1 bedrooms could cost anything between €400 to €1500 per month. All depends on location and type of finish.

Hey I'm going to malta the 16st of February and planning on staying 6 months. I wonder what are the income taxes in both online and live poker winnings. (I'm European, spanish)

I only were able to find a web that talked about general malta income taxes:
http://www.worldwide-tax.com/malta/malta_tax.asp

Thanks in advance
