Hmm, I actually kinda like that roadtrip option. Would be a longer ride from here (Southern tip of Finland, would have to ride 1000km north first to get to Sweden and only then start descending), but idk that might be fun to do. Will see, none of that is really urgent really, I'm just slightly giddy about moving abroad after 2 long years spent in Finland and like to plan ahead.

Roadtrip is awesome, maybe u even get a mate to join u. Ive literally never had a better feeling than standing of teh top deck on that ferry, sun shining down and the island coming closer and closer. Also by far safest option that screens arrive in one piece. As being said i can hook u up/get contacts for everything u need. For instance if u dont want to drive car back you can ship it for 600-1k, thats wat i did...

We are two online MTT players moving to Malta on August 24th. We plan on booking an Airbnb flat for a few days and rent a flat for at least 3 months. I have a couple of questions for an helpful online grinder already living there :
- Which area would you recommend ? Knowing that we are not planning to party that much and would rather have a a nicer flat outside of the fuss while being able to walk to go to the supermarket and some leisure. I was considering Swieqi Birkirkara Msida Gzira...
- Is the whole island connnected with fibre ? What about Gozo ? (I assume it is not)
- How would you deal with finding a flat ? Land and visit ? Or arrange everything from abroad ?

Reading this thread would be a start, everything has been answered numerous times.

-Those areas you mentioned are alright for what you want. Sliema also great.
-Finding a flat is supereasy, contact an agent and he/she will take you on a tour to see several appartments and you can choose. Def dont try to arrange from abroad, see everything in person. Besides that, most real estate websites are useless, listings out of date etc.

Also u should know its v hard to rent for only 3months. Price will be up to 70% more and choices will be superlimited. If u really only stay 3 months id recon to rent a place for 6 and move out after 3 losing teh deposit. Will be still cheaper than shortterm lets and alot moar and better options to choose from

Its prolly fact but at teh same time its sad THAT tis is maltas best spot for that. Literally every cafe in vienna i went to is miles better in any regard... service tilted teh **** out of me 2 weeks ago
