I use Ozosystem at my flat (one of biggest cleaning companies in Malta) and I am pretty satisfied with cleaner/her manager...I even switched them to our our office instead of some old busto 60year old maid wearing thongs all the time .

Considering going to Malta, I have a question..

How do you get healthcare as a poker player? Assuming you have no job in Malta and no health insurance in your home country. Is it possible to take out public health insurance voluntarily and if so how much does the premium cost? If not, is there any private health insurance that covers the same services/expenses as public healthcare?

We've had some low stakes home games of dealers choice. Would be up for hosting one again if there's interest.

Count me in.

On another note, I am having some troubles finding a decent chair. Has anyone used Ebay/Amazon to ship one over, if so which company did you use.

Cheers I did already but the chairs I found either were not v good or had extortionately high shipping costs. Was looking fr something more affordable. I will give the Italian one a go.

Seems like there's decent interest in getting a game going. I'll speak with my housemates and come up with a date.

Presumably people want cash action? What kind of games would people want?

I am playing the €550 portomaso this Saturday from 16:00 so if anyone is up to some lunch/breakfast before that, would be great...

Hi,

does anyone sell an office desk, office chair? A recent PS3/Xbox?

I am selling a PC desktop, a laptop, and some screens, I'll post details later but let me know if interested.

Also, I've seen that since January it's getting harder to get an ID card, we need now appointment and proofs of incomes and sht, any poker players did it recently? http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles...eigners.454440

If a walk in BOV and tell them that I am a self-employed affiliate, is that enough or do they need papers?

Last question, whats the prices for Cynergi or Livingwell if I signup for 6 months?

BOV dont care about your income they do require a referral from your home bank though.

Hey guys, im looking for some assistance and i figured that might be a good place to get some recommendations. Im EU citizen and i lost my driving license in Malta. Now, i know the process of reissuing is pretty simple and all it takes is to fill in one form, but it takes some time and unfortunately i had to cut my stay short and am no longer here (i'm also not in my home country for those who would say just sort it out there). Is there any way i could hire an attorney or something like that to take care of it for me? Maybe someone had similar issues and could recommend some solution?

Thanks in advance

if you are a EU-citizen only thing you need is the european health insurance card otherwise not sure..

You can suscribe to an "expat health insurance" in your home country (eg April), or a local one (Atlas). In both cases, no question asked about job/incomes, and it cost about 550EUR/yr for a young men, if you choose "hospital only".
