If it's hold'em than you should probably play at Naga. They have anywhere from 4-6 tables running for games from $1-$3 to $10-$20. If your choice is Omaha than it's Riverking 1 Pub as they're the only ones with a PLO game. If you're heading down to Sihanoukville I've been told that the $1-$2-$3 NLH game at the WM is still good. But if you like to play higher you should definitely check out Gobo East. Accomodations are going to be a bit tough down there so let me know if you need some help with that. I hang out with some friends every Tuesday or Wednesday night and hit the bars. Feel free to join when you're in town.

"poker_triads latest update on rake in Naga
"PT is correct, when I was there couple weeks ago it had a hybrid of 10% up to $5 on all games and 5% thereafter until the cap is reached. Each game has a different cap.

1/3 $10

2/5 $15

5/10 $25"

PLO runs daily at riverking. Naga had a PLO game about 4 times this week.

Hey thanks for the info, I'll probably try Phnom Penh for a bit and then Sihanoukville so happy to join for drinks. Do you have facebook or insta?
Also how's the tournament scene, is it worth playing them or are there not too many?

Riverking 1 Pub has a monthly $5,000 Guarantee tournament on the first Sunday of every month. It's advertised as a $50 event but in reality you're probably going to spend about $300 as it is a double buy-in, double rebuy and double add-on structure. The Red Fox has a $20 rebuy/add-on tourney every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 7:00 PM. These can be quite fun and on Saturdays the pot can get up to $1,000+ sometimes. And of course the WPT is coming to Nagaworld in November.

You can message me on my Instagram account by searching either "poker_triad" or "Poker Wasteland". I'd send you a private message and send you my Facebook info but as you only have 3 posts I'm almost certain you can't receive messages yet. But yeah, hit me up there and I'm definitely down for drinks when you come in.

One of my friends wanted a withdraw from his online account so hey, why not deliver it in person. It's the perfect excuse to take a break from the family and hang out with some friends. So we met at the same Japanese restaurant that we always do and when I arrived my friend had already ordered and entire bottle of sochu, which is a combination of Korean soju and Japanese sake. So I had a fairly good idea where the night was headed. BigBananas (aka Bruce Lee, aka the Boss, aka Whitemaster) joined us and we headed out to the Riverside after dinner. Actually we decided we wanted a quiet night of sorts so we headed out to a street we never go to and ended up at Waves Bar on street 110. For those unfamiliar, this street is relatively dead compared to the other bar streets. When we got there my friend asked WTF we were doing there when it was his idea in the first place. But the two of them found girls to hang out with but I ended up playing Jenga with BB and his girl who surely had to leave soon as she had school in the morning. Then we ended up on 136 at one of our favorite places the Drink Bar. None of my regulars were there so I just hung with a new girl and drank a bit. She was alright but I'm guessing my girls weren't there either because of a day off or the holiday coming up. BigBananas had the worst luck there as two girls in a row had him buy them drinks and then took off without hardly taking a sip. We asked the mama to take those drinks off the bill which she did; the management is pretty good there and she knows we're regulars. Third time's the charm though for BB as some huge breasted young thing sat with him. I had conjugal relations with the Mrs right before I left home so my night ended relatively early as I couldn't get it up to save my life. BB headed off to another bar and my other friend found a friend to accompany him home.

Haven't heard from you in a while. I suppose it technically could but all indications thus far are that it won't. Besides there are many who believe the ban will be reversed.

2 questions:
Have any other pokersites than Party pulled out of cambodia since this happened?

Is it still possible to get good quality weed in PP or do you have to settle for the seedy stuff they have at redfox & the pizzashops?

Party pulled out a long time before this 'ban'. As for the ban itself I don't think it's affected online players at all, it was mainly aimed at the Chinese who were using live dealers online in their casinos etc hence why around 120000 of them have gone home.

EDIT: I don't do it myself but have heard people I know settle with the RF stuff unless you have contacts & prepared to pay a lot more.

only Party afaik and I'm pretty sure the government ban had 0% to do with it, if I've understood correctly the licenses given out will be honored until maturity but then not be able to be renewed? but I doubt any known international poker site has a license specifically with cambodian authorities. Party has simply started pulling out of SEA, why Cambodia was a standalone withdrawal country a few weeks after thai+someothers(I think) I do not know, maybe they have some inside info on asean regulation coming up or something, or maybe for some reason SEA simply haven't benefited the company at all (although I can't imagine a reason for this). But if another site pulls out of Cambodia specifically and no other country in the region, I'll be extremely surprised. And if anything if every site withdrew service from us, if anything PT would benefit as while most would move, some would simply try making the appgames fulltime work, and some of that group would go to PT, if the cambodian government has the power to make pokerapps pull out of here, then I'm living in the most powerful country in the world somehow.

2nd question i have no idea

2nd question i have no idea
I've had friends come here from other countries where the sites not only pulled out, but they don't feel safe even playing on the apps in public. No such concerns here as the "ban" does not target online poker at all. And the feeling in most circles is that it will get reversed or modified in some way. As far as the exodus of the Chinese is concerned there are conflicting reports. I've had one former partner who is Chinese tell me that it's real. But here stands to benefit from it so it may just be wishful thinking. Them leaving in droves at the airport just happens to coincide with a major holiday so they may very well be back in a few weeks. We shall see.

Oct 1st will be their 70th Independence day, which is somewhat a Big thing to them with milestone parade and military showoff thingy.
Another reason why they are going back to their own hometown is to register their piece of land that the govt will be giving out to each and every individual. My EX went home to claim her 4 Acre too.
So i presume they will probably return to Cam by mid Oct

Haven't read much on the chinese "exodus" but saw an article 2(?) days ago where the numbers cited was that over a period (think a month, but may be since the "ban") 140,000 chinese departures were logged, but at the same time there were 130,000 arrivals, and if it also coincides with a major celebratory national holiday then it does seem overblown.

I can't imagine the government do something that could be seen as non-friendly at least towards their biggest ally (again, I haven't read a lot on this but I'd imagine if Cambodia had to choose between ASEAN and China, they'd go with China. Especially so when they are having a hard time with the EU China seems more important than ever, so would assume they'd change course quickly if this actually turned out to be something that leads to a mass exodus of chinese.

Drug addicts, sexpats, pedos, all tolerated for like 20+ years but the Chinese wear their welcome out pretty fast.

The ban is in conjunction with the Chinese government, not against them. The Chinese government doesn't care about whoever gambles in Sihanoukville it anywhere else, even their own. But what they don't want are games being transmitted back to the mainland in an effort to circumvent the State law. Still, I don't think this will stand and will ultimately be reversed in some fashion.
