As a huge domino's fan, I will be sure to check Happy Pizzas out. Just need to save a couple slices for the munchies lol.

Just took a look at Himawari hotel, looks great. Almost tempted to stay there but the price put me off (£74~$97/night). Shame. Hometown hotel on 172 is about $15-$20 a night.

This is a great thread. The pictures and videos from pokertriad really add to the content. I'm coming to Cambodia at the end of next month with my gf (Chinese) and based on LB's recommendation we're gonna spend at least a couple days in Kep. I definitely plan to stop in Sihanoukville on the way. We'll come check out your bar, hopefully can hang out with Triad, the broke bros, 4_chainz and anyone else who might be around. Although I won't be doing any mongering we're still up for a night out. I might even donate to the poker economy a little bit.

BTW, when you ran up $75 bar tabs that USD right? Is that paying for a whole group to drink a considerable amount on alcohol?

Yes, amazingly that was $75 USD. It was for four of us and I used to buy a lot of drinks for the ladies so that drove it up a bit.

the trail along the coastline from Kep to the Vietnamese border is astonishing with some hidden Pagodas on some hills and cute small villages here and there.
But just generally there's some great hiking around Kampot w/ some pretty cool caving and pretty much the only jungle that's cleared of landmines in Kep. Used to be packed with tigers and all that jazz but unfortunately Kep got quite touristy at some point and they all retreated.
For climbing there's: http://www.climbodia.com/ which has been recommended to me and has a very solid rep. It's right in the midst of it.
there's also a ranch where you can rent out horses

be careful leaving the queenco late at night. it's in an isolated area of sihanoukville, which puts you at great risk of being robbed or worse.

Well finally booked arrive next week

Staying in Phnom Pehn at the Kolab Sor hotel and will get around by bus or train.

Not up to sitting for a long time as even the flight is a drama but would love to check out some of the beaches etc I have read about here and elsewhere.

Heaps of massages and long walks as I need exercise. Tossed up between here and Peru but Cambodia does seem an ok place and very close to heaps of other countries.

I had a holiday for a month with all the Family in Phuket last October and we absolutely loved it, great hotel staff gave us all a small gift when we left and spoilt our 12mth old Grandaughter rotten. Mr T was our Taxi driver and he drove all of us all day and had lunch and dinner with us also went to the Fights as well for 1200 Bht per day.

I also wanted to visit Bangkok but stayed with the family and I feel depending how my health is as to whether I fly or Bus / Drive to Bangkok from Phnom Penh. Also seems a lot less people as our town / city has about 8k people. only about 5 sets traffic lights.

I also hope the markets and massages are as cheap if not cheaper as both myself and my wife got used to having a massage at least every 2nd day.

This time I am going by myself and hope to find some clothes for my 12 year old thinks she is 20 daughter, Relax and start walking and light exercise for 4 weeks.

I also spent a week in Shenzhen China and a week in Belangaru India late last year chasing the hep C miracle drug and got ripped in China but India was perfect. The medication saved my life and now Hep C free and Cancer Free.

LonelyBox I was expecting you to rip me about Hotel etc but I had the ****s at the time because the Peru prices had doubled and Cambodia prices went up about 15%. I ended up just booking and I will see how it all goes.

Just recently returned from a 3 week stay in Phnom Penh. Shout out to all the lads who play at the Fox, both tournaments and dealers choice cash game. Had a great time (and won a decent bit of bonus spending money ). I'm Scott from Scotland, drop me a pm if we met!

4_chainz's bar is doing very well. A lot of us poker players still hang out there and he's picked up some new clientele as well. Beer pong has become quite the thing there. We played an England vs America match the other night against Izzit and our friend Cam. In honor of me, an Asian American, hitting the game winning shot 4_chainz gave us his best rendition of "Got Rice Bitch."
