I think the reason you see lerss hot khmer girls in your daily life than mb in thailand/phillipinnes is another one.
Ok, women in china, japan, korea and vietnam just look different on average, but women in most countries in SEA are genetic-wise potentially similar.
Just checkout some picture of models from thaialand, cambodia, phillipinnes, laos... not big differneces there imo - enough hot girls from each country - but this is obv. lookwise the high-end, but the high-end is here imo as good measure cause it shows the potential...

Coming back why I assume you see on average less 7+_girls in Camb than mb in Thailand, Phillippines is pretty simple:
On average khmer ppl have less money than ppl in the other mentioned country - and with money (good body-exercise-programm, good facial treatment, solid make up, hot clothes and so on - Im not an expert on this filed) likely any women can climb up at least 2 point on this ridic 10-scale - imo this aspect comes way closer to the turth than anything else mentioned so far...

Not to add fuel to the fire but from this picture I would rate her like a 1 maybe a 1.5 with some serious beer in me lol. The nose is huge,dark skin, chubby cheeks, somewhat fat, and most likely short.

If I got a message from this girl on a dating site that said "I will come over free and pay you 500 baht" I would not even consider it. In my experience with the dating sites the photos look better then they do in person/webcam since they pick there best couple shots etc. So I would see this and run for the hills lol.

I thought the food in Cambodia was pretty good. A lot more low end western options (Good luck getting decent beef in Thailand. In Cambodia it's everywhere). Cambodian food isn't as good as Thai food but I don't eat a huge range of Thai food, just the odd stir fry or curry and Cambodians can cook those too.

Also you can get Australian meat pies in Cambodia!

It's not really any easier to date off the P4P scene in quiet places in Thailand. Sure it's not too bad if you live in Phuket or BKK but there wouldn't be many dating options in a town the size of Sihanoukville in Thailand. Also, Khmer girls in regional areas are far more likely to speak English than Thai girls in regional areas.

Big advantages of Cambodia are easy visas, much cheaper booze and food, much fewer tourists -especially in beach areas. Like I said, if you want the quiet life it's a better option than Thailand imo. Obviously it's not going to appeal much to the guys who live in Bangkok and spend most of their time dating chicks from Thaifriendly and going to exclusive nightclubs.

Pretty much this. Makeup makes a massive, massive difference to how girls look. Cambodia is a country that has been involved in civil war for decades and is only just now beginning to recover. Cambodian girls have not had much time to learn the mystical art of applying makeup.

Richer girls are much better looking on average than poorer girls, and the main reason is simply that they dress better, know how to apply makeup better and generally have more time to devote to their appearance.

Heaps of Thai hookers come from the areas bordering Cambodia (Buriram, Sisaket etc) and are ethnically no different to Khmer girls. But they have grown up in a different culture and that reflects in their personal appearance.

An average chick in Thailand(Asia) is a lot better than an average chick in USA.. of course its geographically dependent.. A 9 in Helena, Montana would be a 6-7 in Los Angeles

massive overstatement, you can find good beef in cambodia but it certainly isnt everywhere, go into a random place to eat you are more likely to get bad meat than good
