can't deposit from thai IP. need vpn / teamviewer outside thailand etc

everything else you can do with MB from thai IP, just not deposit

I don't often withdraw from the ATMs with my Neteller card but if I do the standard rate including the 150 baht fee is around 5% which isn't exactly great but acceptable.
Used the yellow bank today and got ass raped for 10%. So make sure to stay away from Ayud***crap if you have to use your Neteller card for ATM withdraws. Some bs USD to GBP to baht double conversion i suspect. I even got an additional slip that stated that Mastercard take no responsibility in this FX scam and its my own fault I used this bank that doesn't follow FX policy blah blah. LOL

Anyone know what hours/days the immigration office in Phuket Town is open? Kind of a pain to get there from Kamala and don't wanna make the drive and miss out.

did you google "phuket immigration" ?

open 8.30am - 4.30pm monday to friday except holidays, last applications received 3.30pm. closed for lunch 12pm-1pm.

if possible i would avoid mondays and days followed by a holiday since it is more crowded during those days

i'm such a fish...arrived in phuket today and when i got into the main building of the airport i was summonned over to one of the sales counters.

Guy was obv really friendly and helpful and got me a nice hotel for 2 nights for 2 nights in Patong when i was planning to go to rawaii :/ he showed me the map and rawaii seemed too far.

anyway i thought i was next to teh beach but i arrived at this ****ty area which is apparantly 10 minutes in a tuktuk away lol. nice start billy

any1 going out tonight and want to help a noob the good places to drink?
