Anyone know why basically all nightlife was closed after around 2 tonight (Friday)? Finished a coding project around 1 and was looking forward to a late night. Next stop Soi 11 around 2:45, Levels was closed, Climax closed, all the smaller bars too. Wasn't in the mood to keep looking.

i went to bangkok and hua hin for 5 days. I was surprised by the amount of lady boys around the malls i have been too (went to a mall called siam paragon) biggest mall I have been too in my life.... it is amazing to see a **** ton of lady boys walking around, i thought it was rare to see them but nope, from hotel employees, airport employees, to random mall visitors... they just sit together near the front of the entrance too!

Food isn't as cheap as I thought. They were like decently priced for mall food but street food is cheap but quality does lack. MSG is added into everything btw lol and do not trust deep fried stuff, had food poisoning for a couple of days because of old oil (they never change it)


not going to lie, the non lady boys are the hottest girls I have seen in my life. Saw a **** ton of half white / thai girls..... insane! hotter than beijing, shanghai, japanese, hong kong, USA/ CAnada girls!

Paragon has the hottest girls of any of the malls. The Hiso Chinese Thais love it there. Its not a fair indicator of the Thai female population as a whole though because it has more 9+s then anywhere else.

The Suk malls have hot girls but are a slight step down at emquartier to a bigger step down at term 21. If you go to the mall by my me its a real step down from all of the above. Still better then any western malls.

IRT food- Paragon has a alot of overpriced restaurants. They'll be a nice ambiance but you'll eat in them and be like WTF foods expensive and sucks. Everyonce in awhile you'll find a gem. Its amazing how often a new ripoff place opens there when one closes its like a rotating door of overpriced bad food.

As far as street food seems some guys love it and others like me get food poisoning or Bangkok belly everytime they eat it. YMMV

The malls targeting different classes of Thai society can be quite funny. From paragon Hiso Thai chinese, over MBK Farangland to "the Mall" at Bang Kapi for the working class where locals look at you like you are an alien.

there's probably a lot of actual chinese in paragon too. wealthy chinese girls can be really hot. of course the chinese on 'zero dollar' tours are some of the ugliest people on earth.

Yes!! I only went to the Siam Paragon... hottest girls in a mall I have seen in my life, and not the ladyboys hot because they are easily noticeable
