(More serious question : I have to go to Vientiane next week, how long do it take to get a visa if I put my passport at the embassy first time on Tuesday morning 27th.
How more does it cost to do Udon Thani - Vientiane by taxi ?)
you must have that online poker player look about you.

yes, it's very likely she's had customers who play online poker. the pool of freelance prostitutes in freelance clubs is smaller than you probably think.

I stayed at deseo a month ago. Very clean, good location, wireless internet albit pretty slow (can be upgraded), close to good party street (soi11), supermarkets 5min away, 5min to BTS Nana, pool at the roof that is very nice, coffee shop and laundry at first floor, 24-7 security with security card to get inside the building.

Highly recommended if 30k/month is in your budget for 1bedroom apartment. Any questions let me know.

Thanks a lot. Yeah, looking to spend max 40k on the rent. Hopefully they allow pets and reply to me tomorrow.

Being close to BTS is obv a plus and not being a million stops from Asok BTS is another plus. Prob gonna be playing some pool in Hustlers and in the other pool places around there.

Other than that I'm not really picky about location or anything else

Does anyone know if Bangkok taxis (metered) generally allow dogs (in a cage) to travel in the car or do we have to find some other way of moving around? We'll have to go around some offices/vets to get some paperwork done before flying in the last week of our trip.

My gf takes a cat in a cage quite often, they don't seem to care. If they even notice.

Dogs might be different from cats though, here in Laos nobody wants to take a dog in their car because it's unclean for some reason. Might be fine in Bangkok of course but you never know.

Hi guys - I'm in an awful spot and really need some help - my vacation went to **** and I just booked a trip to BKK tonight. At Heathrow and I don't have battery like 5min left I forgot the charger. Never been BKK and I don't have time to book hotel. I am planning just get a taxi to somewhere central Sukhumvit and find a net cafe there. Can someone please recommend something simple range 1k-3k bhat ? I haven't slept i 3 days need to relax the first night then figure stuff out. This is totally unplanned and I'm panicking a bit. I hate getting ripped off which will happen if I ask some driver to some random hotel. Never been just what I remember from the top of my head and now this is just a ramble...
I'll check this when I get there, if someone replies to this with a simple solution I will love you forever. I have no idea what I'm doing

"In residence" - Sukhumvit Soi 13

just buy a power charger or charger and charge your phone in some random airport bar and take it from there.

i'd stay at one of the citadines.

go to the citadines site and become a member. you can get it for $42 a night at the moment. that's with daily cleaning, including tax and you won't have to pay 44k up front.
