some how stumbled into nana the other day by mistake nothing of too much interest but took a few pics

there is now a nana burger, had my last cheat meal before preparing to fight robbieV.

I ordered some noodles....

Then sat down trying to worm my way into the thai convo these two shaaaalgs were having, I could tell they were from Isan due to all the slurping noises they made when eating there noodles. I even tried to jump into there conversation, but upon listening, the amount of Laos/isan slang was too much for me to find a good point to step in, so I just took pictures.

If you ever looking for a midget hooker

Walking around sukhumvit and I just see this outside a shop

It's all about the prose brah.

That pic was taken about 5 miles north of Krabi. It was alright, some kinda eco-huts run by some affable German. I bailed after a night cos most people there were dry lunches though.

Trying to figure best way to get another 30 days, staying in bkk. I dont need a new visa, since theres no chance I'll be staying longer than 30 days

options:

- 2 Cambo border runs to get visa waiver. cost 1900 per trip bhat incl cambo visa (not sure if I have to pay for cambo visa twice or if first one gives me 2 entries?

- One 15 day extension at imm office + 1 combo run. 1900+1900+ transportation to immigration office. I hear its far? I am correct that I can get a 15 day extension after Ive already done a 30 day extension?

- Bus out / fly back for 30 day stamp. not sure cost but I'm guessing 1k cambo visa + 2500 flight + 500 bus. not sure what city I'd fly to.

- fly out / fly back. mebbe 6k total?

If you fly you'll waste less time, as you only need to do it once.

In Laos you can get a Thai visa so you only need to do the run once but you'll waste 2 days on it and it costs about 5.5k total.

he doesn't need a visa since he is saying he will stay 30 days or less

i'd fly somewhere and back the same day. maybe the most expensive but fastest way and least hassle

Where is the best place to fly to in the morning and back same day?

I have looked at doing that before and can never find flights that give you enough time to do it.

fly in fly in and out would be the best option, and it wont be too high priced too. I think it would be like 4,5k if you book tickets in advance. The cheapest places tend to be Pennang, KL and Singapore from BKK, usually.

Does anyone know any agents of websites in thailand that offer all around the world tickets, starting and ending in BKK.

really? from bkk you got dozens of options. i'd start by looking at airasia flights to KL. you can choose from several times to leave and get back the same day. leave around 2 hrs between your flights

Overland run without an existing visa only gives you 15 days though, which means he'd have to do it twice which would be a huge hassle.

Way too tight. Flight might arrive a bit late and there can be huge queues at immigration.

Check in usually closes 1h before the flight is supposed to leave.

i meant to fly

2 hrs is enough. i've done that a dozen times to KL. if you think it's too tight just book one with 3-4 hours then. but 2 hours is enough there. also you can check-in online. you only need to go through immigration and can head out to immigration again. i've always had plenty of time to visit the McDonald's there too

dozen=7 after counting

Those are usually huge rip offs. Just use kayak.com or hipmunk.com to find good open jaw tickets.

The travel agent on the 4th floor of Emporium at Suk 24 has alright deals sometimes though if you really want to book something in Thailand and tg191.com is the best website option, but it's in thai.

Because one time visits make basically no difference on their bottom line. they want monthly/yearly memberships by people who rarely/dont actually show up.

ekkamai master checking in.

Gateway has a ton of places to eat for 50-150 baht, thai and jap. 50baht Ham and cheese subways, all day, everyday.

As for thai food there is a beer garden on the edge of soi 63, way over priced if you ask me. If you walk up 63 between soi 1 and 3 or 3 and 5 there is a thai outdoor restaurant (covered) never been in, but looks cheap.

There is some street food in soi 65, although not alot of choice, but there is a nice western restaurant called "the witch pie factory" close to were I live. If you want you could buy me lunch there (129baht) and we could chew pseudo fat.

But the best place to get shieet food is on soi 38 which is opposite thong lo bts, tons of options after 5pm, sickening masaman curries for 60baht. Its appox a 7-9 minute walk from ekkamai BTS.

Right next to the bus terminal there is a 7/11 and they have a ramen shop there which does food starting from 59 baht, thats kind of okay for the price you pay.

Holla for any more edgy Ekkamai tips.

But on the actual sukhumvit road between Ekkamai and Thong lo, there aint much bro. where are you staying?

at the end of ekkamai, around soi 30(just before the bridge over phechaburi) there is a outdoor thai market with some street food and fruit and stuff. another place than that many 2+2ers frequent is sukhumvit soi 38 next to bts thonglor, they have a few food stalls open during for lunch and many more for dinner and late night, some stay open as late as 2-3am. there is also street food on suk 71(Phra Khanong) that is not far from ekkamai depending on which part of ekkamai you are at. Can also just go to big C on ekkamai near ekkamai soi 6

edit: forgot to mention there are always a few food stalls in front of the temple by ekkamai bts, only during daytime though

***. Entire wallet jacked at hotel lobby bar. looking at webcam for 2 hours we figured out who probably took it. Left a kind note under his door to return important cards if found. (addressed to all residents but only sent to one, and its a bit obvious when its handwritten by a westerner, oh well)

anyway, might be needing to trade moneybookers for cash if anyone can help a guy out. ill hit up family or friend from home for a flight out of here - no prob.

its ok, i was coinflipping on whether to leave in 5 days or stay a month, and my decision has been made.

to those that have met me I'm sure you wont be shocked by this post. To those that havent, I'm sure you wont be shocked by this post.
