Pooter in Penang did you go to consulate yourself or pay one of the agents?

I just paid an agent 400 baht to do my visa for me because I could not be bothered. Had no problems. Dropped my stuff in the lobby of the hotel, next day picked it up there and had my Ed Visa.

Was in Thailand / Pattaya for 3 month ago.. I miss the food so much !

totally depends on what you like and what you want to do. Could easily spend it all there,but for a holiday I think the beaches should be visited as there nice. A few pages back someone asked roughly the same thing and I answered it all.

Yes I have only ever used the same agent there, its Sharma travel just off tulia street (if memory serves).

I have used him multiple times for tourist and B visa's. It was a tourist visa that got rejected, i applied for a double entry and all they game me was a transit visa and a letter saying dont apply at this consulate again. This was some years back mind.

as a side note, i would highly recommend them for anything visa or travel/tour related. Very very nice people this one time he gave me a lift to the airport for free just cus he had a bit of spare time and it was a nice day for a drive.

extra tip about eating the Hilton all you can buffets. If you on a budget only order water, bill sky rockets if you add cokes, juice or beers etc..

Can you elaborate what and how this agent gets you a visa? Is this to stay another 30 days so you don't have to leave?

We are talking about penang in Mayalsia where you go apply at the thai consulate for tourist and other visas for thailand.

There are travel agetns there who will take your passpaort to the consulte and do everything for you for a small fee. It is better to use these as they have contacs inside the cinaulte which normally enures you get the visa, plus it saves you the time and effort of going there yourself.

no, visa run u go to ranong. 1500 or 1800 baht. start morning, come back evening.
going to penang by agency cost 4000(include transport, hotel, food etc)+cost of visa and takes 2 days and u get 1entry visa so after u can stay in thailand for 90 days.
