Insomina is pretty cool though. Climax is never too busy and usually has a live band playing some phaggotry songs. They happen to sing happy birthday about 5 times a night too people in the crowd.

Depends what your looking for in the pub. Just food? pool? atmosphere? only drinking? etc. Sportsman is pretty good also between suk 22 and 24.

does anyone have info on the busses in BKK, caught one last night for 8 bhat lol. gonna use them more often, as lets be fair the bts is a ****ing rip off. Must be a website somewere?

also what is the deal with taxi drivers not wanting to pick you up when its raining, so many just drove past me in the rain, when i had my hand out and the taxi was free.

which rca club would you guys recommend for sun/mon. what time do they get going?
what kind of crowd go there, is it mixed thai/falang, mixed ages or only 18-20 year old students? are they all thai style standing tables types or more 'traditional' night club style

lots of questions i know. only have a few days and want to make the most of it...

its busy every day really id say mon-thus after 11:30pm. Fri and sat from like 10:30pm. slim or route 66 cant really go wrong. full of hot slootz that just are waiting to be pounded so hard.

fri and sat its a total cluster****, overpacked. girls from like 20 ( ithink thats the age u gotta be to get in) to like 30-35. its mostly thai, but more farangs on fri and sat.

Can someone name a good place to stay (quite cheap and many internationals/poker players) for the first few weeks?

And i read there are problems with mb/neteller, true? How do you geht your money from the poker account?

Regarding tipping: Like others stated usually leave change or 20 bt, I usually figure around 5%. Also the general custom is that tips left on the tray are split, if you hand the money directly to the server they get to keep it. If I get really good service at a place I frequent I'll usually leave the loose change in the tray and hand the server an additional tip.
