Bob's opinions fir his experiences. That I do not question. My only issue with them here is that this is really a Seoul specific thread and Bob lived pretty far from Seoul.

this. And he loves to impart his knowledge in a way as if he's saying, I KNOW MORE THAN YOU AND I AM ENTITLED TO SAY IT.

Sorry about the condescending tone guys.

I do speak of Korea in general. Like LK said, I lived pretty far away from Seoul.

After reading loosekanen’s post, I figured I’d add my own thoughts and experiences about meeting Korean women. Just so you know my background, I’ve lived in Korea exactly two years now and had moderate success (slept with ~20 women, mostly 7s and a few 8s) and know a lot of guys who have done very well.

What’s awesome about Korea is that women are not necessarily easy (although they can be), but the fact that there is such an abundance of hot women. And even the 7s and 8s are basically 9s in America, so as long as you can pull those there’s a good chance you will be pretty happy with your dating life.

Anyway, on to what I have to share:

1) LEARN Korean. This one is obvious, but cant be overstated. Learning some basic conversational Korean and slang or funny things to say will at least double your results. It is possible to do well without Korean, but you are filtering out a good population of Korean women who would otherwise be DTF by not learning Korean. You don’t need to understand what the girl is saying (just nod and say “arasseo” if you don’t understand), but you do need to be able to talk for a while. It’s actually a lot easier than you might think.

2) Buy girls drinks. Buying drinks is often perceived as lame, but in Korea it is standard. Of course, you should talk to a girl for a bit first and make sure she isn’t just using you for the drink, but pretty much every girl I’ve ever banged from a club (whether on a date or a one night), I bought her a drink at some point before it went down.

3) Go to Itaewon! Boy, Itaewon has changed a lot since I came to Korea. A lot of foreigners like to avoid itaewon and its past reputation, but the fact is that Itaewon is the most up-and-coming spot in Seoul these days, whereas Hongdae has died down a lot. If you don’t like clubs, Itaewon is perfect as it has two really famous lounges (B1 and Glam) which were both opened and remodeled in the last year. They are good nearly seven days a week. Girls here are more friendly, open to foreigners, speak more English, and nowadays the quality of Itaewon girls has gone WAY up. Gangnam girls and the “classy type” frequent Itaewon way more than they did before., I am certain of the fact that if you meet the same girl in Itaewon, she will be more friendly to you than she would be if you met her in Gangnam. Personally, the quality of girls I meet and pull from Itaewon is equal to, if not better than ones I have met in Gangnam.

4) I agree with loosekanen that it is quite easy to meet girls in the day in Korea. Just say “hi” and go talk to them. It doesn't matter what you say, the fact that you are a foreigner and approached them in the day gives you a pretty strong novelty factor as it is. Chances are, you are never gonna be surrounded by this many hot women in your life again, and even if you get rejected, do you actually care what some random Korean people on the street think of you? Gangnam Street in particular is an awesome area to meet girls, as there is so much foot traffic and lots of hot girls.

5) Although 7s and 8s are not too difficult, stunners are pretty damn hard in Korea. There are a bunch of foreigners who have banged hundreds of girls in Korea, but among those there are very few, if any, stunners. You pretty much have to get lucky, and even then, it’s gonna be difficult. The top room salon girls (or the 1 percenters) basically get free rent and cars from rich sponsors/CEOs, so this is what you’re competing against. They also hardly ever speak English either, since they are not educated but rather very high-class hoes. I don’t wanna say they are impossible, but from everything I have seen, it is very difficult to lock down one of these girls as a foreigner, unless you are rich maybe (which pretty much NO foreigners here are).

6) I don't hunt for girls online cuz I dont have patience for texting and typing, but I have heard of guys pulling tons of girls from online and texting apps. If the girl meets up with you, then it's basically a done deal. UBLove, KoreanCupid, 1KM, Skout are the ones I hear the most.

Anyway, this is some dating advice that would apply to Korean girls specifically. Of course, game is game and genuine confidence will get you laid anywhere in the world, but these are a few of the observations and experiences I’ve had after living here for two years.

Any pics of typical Korean 7's or 8's? They don't have to be chicks you know or anything (even just a random pic pulled off the internet would be helpful).

this is such a loaded question but i'll post a few that i've pulled last month:

Spoiler:

this girl was a legit 8 imo:

a 7 next to my drunk ass:

and then a smattering of 6s that look much better without their clothes on. this is kind of awesome and backwards in korea from most places i've been. women with not so cute faces and immaculate bodies tend to like foreigners. probably sample size but whatever.

Haha, I didn't mean for it to be. It's just hard know what a Korean 7 or 8 looks like for those of us who haven't visited yet, so thanks for clearing it up.

Wow, good deal. I'd take a nice body with an average face over a nice face with an average body any day of the week.

Well done, loosekanen. The girl in the first pic def looks like a quality Korean girl. I was a little hesitant to post pics at first, but the truth of the matter is that pix or it didnt happen!

Girl 1. She's an 8 IMO but the ratings system is always arbitrary anyway. Met her at Club Octagon, pretty much the best club in the world!!!

Spoiler:

and

Spoiler:

Girl 2. Girl on the left. Met her on Gangnam Street. "Hey are you Korean American"? This is pretty much the standard 7 in Korea. Decent face, tight body.

Spoiler:

The percentage of fat girls in Korea (and Asia in general) is incredibly low. Pretty much every girl has a tight body. There is so much social pressure for girls to look good here, nearly every girl is on a diet, is always going to the dermatologist to perfect their skin, or getting plastic/lasery surgery or botox done. I'm not complaining at all, that's just the way it is here and one of the byproducts of Asian culture is that you have girls who take incredibly good care of themselves.

Overall, <3 Korean women. They are fun, energetic, hot and caring. If I can find one that is also open-minded and has a similar worldview to me then I will be locking it down!

another great place to find girls are 'modern bars' or 'sexy bars' basically the bars where you go in and have to get atleast a bottle

a bit pricey, but all of those places usually have lots of hot girls and while they are generally forbidden to meet you outside of work etc they all do it

room salon girls are difficult and you probably need the cash to go atleast a few times and get to know them, but definitely not out of reach for foreigners. if they are attracted to u you can always get them, though it is certainly difficult. i know some white boys that speak fluent korean that have gotten many of them

Try posting the pics again. Sorry for being the creepy guy haha, just curious how Korean girls compare to the chicks I saw in Taipei and Shanghai.

girl i was out with today looked like a 7... but was wearing a low cut top and i have a sneaking suspicion she's a 9 naked. massive real boobs (definitely pass the feel test) for a korean. i will post another photo friday night when she's dolled up.

she also was wearing massive heels today, dead giveaway a chick is into me since i'm so tall, and busted her ass and fell on her knees while walking. actually was bleeding a bit, and she shrugged it off like it was nothing, and continued the date. this one might be a keeper.

I'm glad it's working well for you. You must have a pretty good game because these girls are clearly out of your league physically speaking (I don't mean to be an ass but you are a bit fat, especially for Asian standards).

first of all, in korean age i'm 31 and these women are not young and i'm looking for something serious, not a drunk lay. they're close to my age. and i have a very thorough screening process with women. also, maybe factor in some social pressure/desperation/rebellion. it's probably not all that surprising. there are many reasons a woman will agree to meet me once. however, once they do agree to meet:

confidence, intellect and humor trumps all with the kind of women i'm attracted to. i do agree that with a significant portion of the population i wouldn't be considered very attractive. a portion of them are swayed by the fact that i'm 6'7". most of the rest fall victim to the guitar. such is life.

that said i'm dropping weight quickly already. moving from a really sedentary lifestyle to a significantly more active one will do that to a man. by the fall i likely won't be so fat anymore.

and i tend to not photograph well in general but i'm not exactly worried about that.

I suggest doing Starting Strength. Great way to develop some muscle and get fit.

Being tall and ugly in korea seems to be > short and cute (not saying you're ugly, just from what I've seen there)

+1 what KoreanBrad says. She's a 6. You white people and your yellow fever :P

We'd need 1 or 2 more people to play open-face chinese and somewhere to host it. I'm more interested in meeting some new people than trying to take anyone's money, so I'm fine with keeping the game small.

thanks. If I still lived in Korea I would! But unfortunately I haven't been there in like 4 years so I've got no stories and any information I have would be outdated by now. I imagine it's changed a lot even in the last 4.
