Oh you're only 33? Not sure why I thought of you as older. You certainly don't act older. My mistake. Bad news for me though. Apparently I'm aging at three times the normal rate.

Yup. I continually assume other posters are much older. Most aren't really very old at all though. How old are you? I just assume around the same since you seem married but no kids. Everyone with kids I add 5-10 years based on crotchetyness. Anyone single/without kids I subtract 5-10 years depending on cluelessness.

Bench 150x5x3

Was fine but I think on my DL workset I felt some slight sickness pressure - like I wasn't quite 100%.

3/19 log

Cardio - 45 mins

3/20 log

90% day

Good news is I felt fully recovered in terms of sickness. Other good news is I finished everything. Bad news is squats felt super hard/inconsistent and I had to take a lot of time between work sets to finish this day.

3/21 log

40 mins cardio

JFC was super tired/over the week. Got to 10k steps and said F it.

3/22 log

Squatterday

SMR on hams/glutes/hip flexors/quads
Voodoo band mobilizing for quads/hams/hip capsule/calves

DL 135x5, 185x3, 185x50lbs band x 1 x 10 - I didn't feel I was sitting back all that well and having trouble with my grip until the last couple of singles - those felt the best.

LBBS 45x5, 95x5x2, 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 255x1, 280x5x2 - Second set felt better than the first set although the last rep got a bit stuck and was grindy, I kind of shifted right, then back so I was balanced, then pushed through it. Felt good man. But was not easy.

V wide box squats 175x3x8 - wanted to do some more of these. Felt much easier/snappier. Going to maybe do some sort of v wide box squats programming on DL day and do accessory stuff next time as I try to move up in squat weight again.

Lol, I barely even cardio, seriously, and it's all LISS.

Inside - it's still cold here imo. No treadmill, either bike or elliptical. How fast? Is "not very" an answer? Probably about 70 strides/minute or whatever ellipticals track.

When cutting last year I was doing LISS and now doing hard cardio just makes me sad and it seems harder to do lower body lifting. So, unleses I have a more fun reason to, I just listen to an audiobook or read, zone out, and do some for a bit.

Oh ok still good despite your pussy speed. My cardio is being increased every week, it is def taking it's toll on me along with doing lower body twice a week. I do incline HIIT and my lower body always is sore, this week I am lifting 5x/week and have cardio on each of those days

I used to HIIT. Never made gainz. Well, I barely make gainz now anyway. But, yeah, doing actually tabata or hill sprints or shuttle runs is so painful and I feel so dead afterwards.

I think what I probably would do if I were actually smart is add tabata-ish shuttle runs to the end of my lifting sessions and just do SMR on non-lift days while watching TV or eating junk food or w/e it is I do on non lifting days if I don't do cardio. But that sounds even more painful.

Chinups bw x 8 x 8 - did during bench warmups. Will dial back down to 7 reps next week, my elbows didn't feel great after these and on bench work sets.

Last couple of reps my form/lock wasn't that great. I could tell I wasn't activating my glutes as well as I'd really like. Things were tight, but not suuuuper tight, . Still, though, got what I did a couple weeks ago as a PR.

Sounds like we are both huge then? I dno, I like my arms but I don't necessarily consider them huge. I looked at them in the mirror at Cha's once....then he rolled up his sleeve and flexed. Not going to make that mistake again - I cried for a week straight.
