The gym on Manchester near LAX?

Also, definitely seems like something you should do.

Ya that gym. The guy used to work out at four star gym in el Segundo. It was a couple years ago but he was pretty weak. Like 5 sets of five with like 280 on squat. His form was pretty good but kc and Aidan have better form

That's a sweet birthday present!

All I got you was a bud lite lime, but then I drank it. Happy birthday.

That's a sweet birthday present!

Unlike Aidan, I am not going to drink bud lite limes today. More for you buddy.

Report back on how she likes the gym? I've been thinking of joining a new gym and saw his advertised somewhere online. Although sounds like his prices will be kinda steep.

She said it was good but it sounds like you can only go while he is coaching you. No open gym

Thoughts on Israetel book: pretty solid, if a bit too meandering at times. I wish there was a few more examples in the way of application, though I realise they purposely left that out. Definitely revealed shortcomings in my own approach.

I'm like 60 pages through it but it seems like there are a ton of unnecessary parentheses (kind of like this). Seems pretty good though. Kind of also seems like they are pushing toward American peoridization but I'm not sure if that's how the whole book will go

Yeah, it gets a bit colloquial towards the end, too.

If American periodisation is running sequential hypertrophy-strength-peaking blocks, that's definitely where it ends up.

I might've miss worded it but I meant like how ed coan and the like used to train. Like start 14 weeks out and start with sets of 12 then work down and do sets of 1 or two

lol read a book? Are you trying to get people jacked or become a nerd, pussy. You know who reads books? Ian McCarthy. Don't know who that is? Congratulations you just passed the first test.

Come on bro. You probably know more about those lifts than 99% of the people that are signing up for this thing. It's not like you need a master in microeconomics to pass at this. This should be pretty basic stuff and right up your alley, I'm sure most of what you hear during that course will be stuff that you already knew.

The only catch is that you have to write down what they want to hear or what they teach you, and not what you believe to be better or more effective personally.

This will be key: gotta be able to coach the SS cues. Plus GOMAD.

I would think that at 6'0" 230 with a 500lb lowbar would automatically get him a pass in that course. Is rippetoe actually going to be there?

I'm pretty sure Rip is at most of them but I'm not positive.

And I know how to give ss cues but the test is like a 3 day take home test that is essay questions with like 15 pages of answers. And you have to show you can coach in person before being given the opportunity to take the written test.

And by my posts here you guys know I can't write or convey my thoughts well
