Lighting and pose differences make it too hard to tell, but you're definitely getting some girth up top. With hard work and perseverance, you'll be fakebusto level ripped.

I wouldn't count on the decent legs part; maybe if I start squatting KY weight or something

Dude, you look super better - I think it was probably worth to get down that low b/c now you are still a lean machine but look noticeably bigger/less depleted from dem gainz. I, OTOH, look ok, but am not a lean machine and bordering on that area where you don't want to bulk any longer.

I can only imagine how little sleep wifeacore is getting between twins and sleeping next to the montemachinegun.

Can I get an amen brother Loco?

I don't really feel like I've gained much, if any, fat in my midsection, and I'd guess the 4 or so pounds I've gained since I ended the cut has probably been mostly water, with (hopefully) something approaching a pound of muscle.

ETA: I agree that cutting for that long was probably for the best -- I'm approaching my previous highs on most of my lifts at 35 lbs less of body weight, and I look and feel a ton better overall, and better than I expected to. That said, hopefully I never have to do it again; I didn't realize how hard it was until I started eating again.

I think you have been hanging in my log a bit too long. You started taking craze for the EV gainzz thus resulting in the start of orange pigment but that makes you look more ripped obv.

Holy **** dude. A new player has come out to play.

Awesome progress Monty. Keep up the good work.

(was the orange tint intentional...?)

lol, unintentional coloring -- old camera plus not tech/photo savvy plus colorblind = that photo. I knew it was tinted but didn't know what color -- orange fits, though, lol.

Also thanks

Let us all get an amen indeed. It's good to see some of the cutting bros coming back from the brink of starvation to look leaner yet thicker than ever.

better pose/lighting/etc, but the 2nd looks significantly better. I think that's pretty natural for the post-cut rehydration / re-swole. I feel similarly about my own physique. I mostly notice it in the shoulders/chest/traps/neck.

kc,

I agree on all counts. Come to think of it, I don't recall having seen any recent noodz of you with the fancy lad posing for which you have become famous. When's that happening?

I guess I can do it sunday morning. Been a little lax with cals this week on account of the beisbols, so I'm a little doughy imo. But might as well own it.

How the **** did you do that in 2 months? That's amazing progress. And you only gained like 5 lbs total?

I need to get on this Monte program.

Keep in mind I had just cut and locotarded for 8 months, so the combination of eating actual food and retaining a bit more water and lifting decent sized weight did most of it. I'm pretty happy with my progress though.

New nightly routine: when the wifeacore goes up to begin her nightly sleep ritual (around 9:30), go down to the man cave and do mobility stuff down there. In addition to segregating all of the foam rollers and stuff out of the family room so the wifeacore doesn't get all #womanfurious at the clutter, it also makes it not quite so obvious when I'm going down to fap.

That's what we call a win/win.

Did some ab wheel last night, then did some more baby weights with the bottoms up KB press and left shoulder still confirmed terrible. Probably going to be doing some light sets nightly with these after rolling to try and address this issue.

This really is a share everything log, isn't it?

Query: do you print out pictures of fakebusto's noodz or do you just bring the laptop to the basement?

On a cereal note, for the mobility work. I really need to be more diligent about it, but it's easy to be lazy about it when everything feels fine.

I assume Monte has stared at the noodz long enough to not need to print out any potentially damning evidence or have to explain why he needs a laptop to do mobility stuff. Plus, he can rub out extras in the shower by committing every inch of sweet, sweet, vest to his memory.

POW,

Of course the laptop comes into the basement with me; I don't live in Alabama or some god forsaken hick state like that. I need to have the ability to monitor the 2p2, the NBA, my fantasy teams, etc in between sets, plus the fakebusto noodz of course.

Yugo,

I wouldn't say I need to, but we all do a lot of things we don't necessarily need to, right? Also, I sneak into fakebusto's house at night once every few weeks and steal one of his vests, then bring it back to him a few weeks later slightly used (so no need to commit anything to memory). He hasn't said anything to me yet, but I think he likes it.

bottoms up press bros.. these seem pretty nice. I just tried them out with 16kg. I also did BUP FLOOR PRESS. Pretty risky as you can literally crush your bowels with an errant bell dump.

Seems like an off day type thing to do. Is it worth buying smaller KBs for this though? Maybe just the cheap ass light ones from target or something?

Nowhere to go faux gusto. You're stuck in Monte's basement. Time to start practicing your OHP butt clench.
