All aboard the gainz train! Love seeing the squat continue to go up. Makes me jelly... Very well my bench-bro, the gap between our squats might always be short but constant.

I fear MC will widen the gap BR, given that he, you know, actually weighs 30 lbs more than you. Would only be natural.

That's okay. I wish nothing but gains for Montebro. Especially in the belly region.

So rustled. I wish I could've been there making ****ty jokes while you were under the bar and shaking your confidence with subtle jabs between sets.

Jk, great work. The GSLP gainz train is choo chooing full steam ahead.

Weight staying the same, no gains in the belly region beeeeeeeotches

Also, thanks for the support POW. If it makes you feel any better, the squats were really tough (much tougher than 240). Need to make sure to get adequate rest for Tuesday.

Weight this morning: 192.2, although before a pretty massive dump. The wifeacore made a pumpkin cheesecake from scratch over the weekend, in addition to five different meals for the week, so I was a slave to the nomzies for the whole weekend.

10/28

Bench
10x45, 10x95, 10x135, 5x175, 3x205, 1x225
2x5x240, 6x240

Seated DB Press
2x12x50

Dips
2x5x+60, 6x+60

Chins
5x+60, 2x4x+60

DB Pullovers
2x12x75

DB Curl
2x10x35

Low Cable Crossover
2x12x17.5

Facepulls
4x15x35

Felt pretty good under the bar today, and was pretty sure I was going to be able to get 6 -- I ended up grinding it (and my partner wasn't there, which may have helped lol). I had some young proto-EV (shirt slit from armpit to the bottom, practically) give me a lift and spot for me, and apart from lifting the bar a bit too high on the liftoff and having his hands under (but not touching) the bar the whole time, he did a decent enough job. I had a small lel at his expense when he asked me if I wanted clips on the end of the bar. Rest periods were 2:30 to 2:45 for DB shoulder press, dips, and chins, then I sped through everything else and finished in just over an hour.

There was an old dude hanging on the dip bar about the same time I was, and he watched me do dips and then said "wow" and walked away. I thought about chasing after him and showing him the picture of fakebusto in a vest and letting him know that this lilliputian can do bw+80 for reps, but decided against it because the validation felt good. Probably had 3x6x+60, but I'll get it next week. Chins were brutal; Evoken is officially my daddy.

Spoiler:
Wow.

Lookin' good, bro.

Maybe gym it up without your partner there more often?

Partner WOAT ldo.

Get that old dude to work out with you, seems like a huge upgrade.

Also, awesome Beta almost: running down the old guy to show him what a stronger dude could do. So great if you had actually done that.

Thanks! And it quite possibly may happen that he misses workouts here and there going forward, especially depending on his travel schedule.

I'm pretty sure we just would have laughed for 20 minutes about him wearing a vest, but yeah, would have been great if I did that. I should probably have that picture of fakebusto as my phone background so I don't have to hunt for it if such a situation arises again.

Is it really more impressive that I'm doing +80? With my BW+80, I'm only dipping 240 total. But with you dipping BW+60, that's like 300lbs. Far more impressive.

Have you given thought to purchasing a vest for exercising? Maybe these vests have special powers? I mean fakebusto is doing something right, right?

YES! Wearing a vest increases testosterone production by at least 30%. And the added strength training just from wearing the vest is perfect. In all increases muscle mass even during recovery.

Pitiful effort when I include my BW in every workout post, but considering my legs don't look like this:

Spoiler:

I've got more lower body mass to move, so it may be more impressive, you're right.

The problem is that it's a pretty big program change, and I'm not sure whether I should do SV or GSLV . . . thoughts fakebusto?

WTF is SV/GSLV?

Monte, re: your weight, obv I was projecting your weight three weeks into the future. Assuming you maintain current progress.

lolfakebusto; actual lifting programs are so unintegrated into your mind that you don't even recognize Starting Vest and Greyskull Linear Vestgression.

I feel like I'm going to be able to hold steady in the 190 range for a while going forward; my hope is that I can get to doing two plate dips for reps by the end of the year.

I thought for sure the LV stood for losing vagina, you know because you're too busy dressing like Peter Pan. I was way off.

Hmmm, that is a good point. Maybe fakebustowife incepted fakebusto into liking vests and other vagina-repelling fashions when she got her gig in London in order to prevent him from pulling in all the chicks (and bears) that like 5'6" tinybros while she's gone. Quick thinking, fakebustowife!

Pretty sure his vest look would be cash$$ with the bears.

LOL LOL LOL the GSLV post above was great but this part almost made me lose it in class. Barely restraining myself. Got me back good for ruining your meeting.

fakebusto,

Thank you, but the earlier incident was with saw, not me; you can tell us apart because he only has one functional hip but still squats more than I do. Hope that helps!

Oh **** was that saw? All fat people look the same to me.

Let's say you got me back for hitting saw with the lel then. And we can say your top lels were so lelworthy they made it hard for me to think.

Pretty strong bench. Now I know what I have to annihilate when I bench today. lol did he rock the shirt well? or was he as skinny as loco?

EV,

He was tiny like fakebusto; it was kind of cute watching him do 10 rep sets at 135 and then check himself out. He was a decent spotter for a bro, though, have to give him that; I only had to yell at him to not touch the bar once.

Weight this morning: 190.8; felt pretty good today, once again had no workout partner to bogart gainz.

10/29

Squat
10x45, 2x5x95, 5x135, 3x175, 2x215
3x5x250

RDL
3x8x215

Pullups
8x10xbw (PR)

Leg Press Calf Raise
4x15x290

Ab Wheel
4x10xbw

Standing Cable Row
4x15x80

Squat was legit tough; last rep in the 2nd and 3rd set probably had a little bit of good morning in them and were a bit grindy, but I got them; going to move up again on Saturday and see how it goes (earn that reset, as KC and DFII like to say). I managed to fit all the pullups in during my squatting, so I finished the 8th set right about at 45 minutes on the dot, which is faster than usual, so it felt good to PR. RDLs after all those pullups are tough because of my grip; I really need to find my straps. Last three exercises were supersetted with about a minute of rest after each cycle; time to eat all of the chicken and vegetables.
