sounds like a skinniest legs competition with those criteria

I mean I just made that up in 30 seconds.

I think the mile run is mandatory. That will weed out some of the ultra fatties and also not require bodyfat to be part of the test.

The squat 20 reppers is fine. Will also weed out the ultrafats who pass out at 15 reps.

I agree bodyweight bench no good. Can just do 1RM. Wilks of course.

Pullups need to be there. They can be reverse Wilked so guys like weasel are not punished and instead rewarded for hitting 8 at 230 bodyweight.

And then somehow add a deadlift. Maybe just 1RM. Wilks of course.

Still think BTM solid contender because he will smoke the mile. But now halfslant in there also.

Soulman vs Monte final should be pretty epic

Soulman in a fitness competition? Yes he has skinny legs, but that's where it stops.

QB vs Monte would be the true show

QB would annihilate me aesthetically and in the wilks related stuff; I'm sure anything cardio related would kill him, and I'd guess I'd have him on chins, but it's hard to say

I'd like to see a bracket, personally. 16 players, 4 rds, single elim.

Row seven 1 minute pieces at a stroke rate of 26. Row for 30 seconds at light pressure between each piece.
2:30 minute warm-up and cool-down for the row. Focused on shoving my knees out hard at the bottom of the FS and it seemed to help me engage my glutes a bit more. Still in the famed BTM range on dips; feels great to finally be doing something. Everything else was fine. Took a shade under an hour and a half including the row; this seems like about the right amount of volume for a lifting day. Nice that I still have some potential FS gains to eke out, apparently.

Still a little tired, which considering I'm 10k meters short of passing my February monthly total right now, isn't super surprising. I'm going to be squatting tomorrow instead of resting because of my travel schedule next week, so I cut today's row a bit short. Added in some Pallofs for a little variety into the ab work.

Got too far forward on my toes on the 6th set of my AMRAP set and just vagged out; feelsbadman.jpg. Everything else was hard but tough; daylight savings kind of threw me for a loop. Row tomorrow, DL 1RM testing on Tuesday before my flight. Good times.

3/15
SSPT DL Test: 1x365, fx395

Had no time because the nanny was half an hour late; got 365 without straps and then just couldn't get comfortable after I strapped in for 395. Not sure if rushing had anything to do with it. Probably going to switch to mixed grip for this next round to try to get used to it. Bleh.

if you dont use straps often, and you also have a top-down setup procedure for DL... it can def be really weird.

No vids, unfortunately.

And yes, HS, I've gotten more top down over the last few months and I was wondering how it would go with straps. The answer is apparently poorly.

I don't see any reason why I can't run another few SSPT cycles and get back into the 400+ range, though. Pretty sure 365 is the most I've ever DOH, so I am getting slightly stronger in at least one metric.

Tied one on last night, but still managed to post a PR for a 5,000 m piece. Feeling a little better, but my legs are still kind of gassed earlier into a row than usual. OLDS.

Bench and squat felt heavy, which is either an artifact of being still mildly hung over/sleep deprived from Saturday (#OLDS) or the mildish cut I'm still on, or both. Overall it was a pretty good workout, though; I've got another week and a half until France, so I'll have a mini de-load/rest week then to recover and whatnot.

With a two minute warm-up and cool-down. Added some farmer's walks because why not; I'm not really sure how far I walked; it's around 2 laps at 30 paces unweighted, and I'd guess my stride is around 2.5 feet, so call 150 feet? May be off by a lot, who knows. Maybe Rusty can program an app for it.

Are you mega shredded at this point? Seems like with all the cardio plus your poverty body weight you should be. If you aren’t I should probably give up on fitness entirely because never in my life am I going to do as much cardio as you are currently doing
