What's wrong with the 96 oz of diet soda?

Question is open to anyone who thinks it is too much or needs to be reduced for some reason.

Some people have photographic memories in addition to possibly having hypermnesia.

That doesn't make someone a "stalker".

Results—After adjustments for age, sex, education (for analysis of dementia), caloric intake, diet quality, physical activity, and smoking, higher recent and higher cumulative intake of artificially sweetened soft drinks were associated with an increased risk of ischemic stroke, all-cause dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease dementia. When comparing daily cumulative intake to 0 per week (reference), the hazard ratios were 2.96 (95% confidence interval, 1.26–6.97) for ischemic stroke and 2.89 (95% confidence interval, 1.18–7.07) for Alzheimer’s disease. Sugar-sweetened beverages were not associated with stroke or dementia.

Conclusions—Artificially sweetened soft drink consumption was associated with a higher risk of stroke and dementia.

Counterpoint: Reported link between diet drinks and dementia and stroke is weak

Why most cohort studies demonizing specific things are generally awful.

Bangs or no bangs?

How could one know that you're thinning?

Keep doing what you're doing.

eta: I guess the working-on-the-car pictures did show evidence of it.

With a full head of hair, the swiped bangs would be an improvement.

Bangs are better.

Are you sticking your chin out?

Is this still with a phone?
09-03-2017 , 07:08 PM
I really like how you potentially look with bangs there, but do think about the pros and cons before cutting. Do you have the time and inclination to style bangs every day? They can be a little more to deal with if you are used to "put back and ignore" of one-length long hair. Also, although your hair looks reasonably straight, oftentimes once cut short, hair may get a bit of wave to it that may take more styling to make presentable, especially with bangs as they are front and center.

I would say if you still want to cut bangs after two weeks, during which you haven't changed your mind once along the way, go for it. After you find a good haircutter tho - that can be hard, lol.

ETA: I also think the wispy look suits you. I didn't catch you mentioning any thinning, but if so, just a bit of bangs would help conserve the rest of your length.

Thanks guys.

I'm not thinning, I've just always had very fine thin hair. If I blow dry it out with a thickening cream it looks better. If I let it air dry it looks really thin. (You were referring to my hair right?)

I'm not sticking my chin out lol, and the pictures are still with a phone.

Ginger, thanks for the advice. I'll consider all of that before chopping.

You have a cute face in both of those. Im biased towards hair up so I think bangs/hair up looks better. Personal opinions vary of course

Is that a cleavage tattoo???
09-03-2017 , 10:32 PM
Pic on the left looks better IMO.

Yes it's a cleavage tat from when I was young and dumb.

Thanks for the compliment PJ

Thanks for your input LKJ.

So I had some setbacks this weekend and I'm just now cooking the Peruvian Style Chicken with Spicy Green Sauce.

OMG that sauce is amazing!
I subbed the pepper paste with two Anaheim peppers pureed with the spices, vinegar, and olive oil. I also did double the garlic. It's so good!

Thanks Montecore!!!

I made the green sauce Friday. It is excellent and the recipe makes a lot of sauce. Thanks Montecore for recommending.
