This is where I'm at right now for the day. I just had the sandwich.

Even Wal-mart's Great Value thinly sliced breads are more like 90-100 a slice.

You really aren't being honest with your logs. It's almost if you're using the logs as a crutch to justify overeating.

"oooo, there is an entry that says I am only eating 400 calories. I'm good then."

You really need to take the time and effort to log correctly and eventually get to the state Renton is talking about where your brain starts associating calories with certain tastes and correct volumes you obviously crave so you could make smart decisions.

No smoothie. I wanted a coffee. The water lines going into the ice machine and coffee maker have mold in them right now and are being replaced.

You need to start measuring your stuff with scales and cups. Your portion sizes are unrealistic and don't match up with the pictures you're posting.
Yes, it was about the size of a cafateria serving. I highly doubt it was over 600cals. I doubled the portion size in my log.

While I agree that not enough effort is being made to have accurate logs, the bread I have in house right now is 65 cal/slice.

The problem would be using that number for bread that I got at a restaurant.

MLYLT, did you bring the bread from home? Where did the sandwich come from?

How much did it cost?
05-12-2017 , 04:05 PM
Too much....$7.25

I would like to focus on some positives.

I have not gone to McDonald's or other fast food all month.

I've only had 2 sausage and biscuits this month for breakfast one day.

The only desserts I have had all month were 2 oatmeal cookies at the company outing.

I have had ZERO snow cones this month!

I just looked again. I asked for the recommendations because going through a list of recipes is overwhelming to me for some reason and I can't choose. It's the same looking recipes up online. I just need someone to tell me, "you are gonna make this and this on these days"

Why did you have two lunches?

Ban this guy MLYLT. He got on my nerves, I am trying to workout.

M,

No fast food and basically no desserts halfway through the month is huge progress.

Well, we haven't gotten an answer on where the sandwich came from, so the calorie count is open to question on it.

Seriously, though, this. Don't let people (helpfully or otherwise) pointing out what can still improve distract you from those accomplishments. Keep them up!

Tbh, this is definitely pretty good MLYLT.

Great job MLYLT...wasn't even sure a streak this long was possible.
05-12-2017 , 10:29 PM
I entered the entire recipe for my homemade lasagna and it came out to 666cals per small serve.

The exact measurements of 2 oz of protein, which is about as much as is in a tea sandwich, had to have been weighed on a digital scale. So I am very confident that she did that measuring at home.
