Squat Pain

Last two times of squatted I've had a bit of pain in my left butt cheek. Normally happens in rep 3 of my heavy set. No pain going down but about 50% of the way up is when the pain starts. Not severe, but enough to make me think "wtf is this?" during the squat. Any ideas?

Sit on a lacrosse ball and writhe around in pain for a little bit.

Spoiler:
Sansa's snow castle scene is one of my favorites in all of the books. Book 5 was my least favorite, I actually like book 4 a lot. My problem with book 5 is the part where
Spoiler:
for 500 pages nothing happens. The only part of the book which actually moved any plot forward was the stuff happening in the North. Jon moved from my least favorite character to one of my favorites, and everything with Roose, Manderly etc. was great. it was nice reading about how Daeny wanted to get snooch pounded by Daario for several hundred pages too, good use of GRRM's time imo

Click through the various areas of "buttock pain" here: http://www.triggerpoints.net/lower-torso.htm.

The red pattern is where you are feeling pain, the x is where to investigate with SMR.

Book 5 was the worst piece of garbage ever. It's on the same level as Dragonlance-bad. 1-3 excellent, 4 good, 5 truly awful.

Probably piriformis, especially if it feels like it is north of the equator of the glute.

Basically, just be conscious that there's "good" pain (muscles/knots/adhesions) and there's "bad" pain (nerve). Irritating the sciatic nerve will only make things worse.

My investigation points look like the psoas. Theyre too hard to get to. I've also read some interesting stuff regarding psoas being sort of a "trauma" muscle, like if you're really stressed or an abuse victim or something your psoas gets very tight and feathering it/mobbing it won't really make it better. Only sorta "releasing the trauma". Hippy **** mostly. Yo Elliott's rants on bioenergetics are in a similar vein.

There's some really bizarre YouTube vids of people shaking like crazy on the floor. Seems culty.

They certainly are. Your brother from another mother has some ways of hitting them, although I generally don't do any of them. They are all called "gut smash" and stuff like that. Cha may have more direct experience with working on the psoas.

BLOG UPDATE, BITCHES.

About halfway done with this massive MKV convert. Some thoughts:

I have a staggering number of blu-rays that have issues ripping the Lossless surround. Oh well, surround is for dads anyways. Just sucks that I never find out until it's 80% of the way finished converting.

Two of my hard drives are corrupt and unreadable. So f'ing brutal.

MakeMKV can s my d because- something that can not play a sound when finished really sucks from an efficiency perspective.
-There's no way to automate this? I can't just say get rid of all the Thai and French audio tracks, keep all the subtitles, and do all the goddamn movies at once? gfy
