You got me curious so I went back to when I first started getting HRV readings in July 2021 and looked at the data to date.
My max HRV has decreased by 3/4 from before drinking untill now. (The last three months has been the greatest decline.)
The "zigzag" has also decreased and there is half the variation now than before drinking. The lows are still the same, but I'm not getting any highs now.
I have also been glued to the couch, other than volleyball on Wensdays, for 2months straight.
I also seperated the readings out 3 months at a time. Other than magnitudes, the "zigzags" patterns were almost damn near identical until the last three months.
I'm sure this has something to do with monthly horomone fluctuations.
Going to cut the drinking way back, but also significantly increase breathing exercises to see what changes.
When I started doing the breathing meditations I noticed a huge difference mentally, with stress, mood swings, and eating. Just got out of the habbit and haven't done it for a while.
