Spotted a guy doing 1/8 reps of 205 on the BP, he came across the gym to get me to spot him... At one point he said 1 more and I wanted to say you have not done 1 yet.

Whats the general thought on asking people why they dont do full reps? Just let them be bros or try and help... I assume he is one of those guys that brags about what he can do but in reality its unlikely he could do 135 full reps

Well, she's damn nearly off of it now that she's realized how big this thing is. I told her I could get her on a curl routine, maybe have her using the shakeweight in a month or so. But I fear she may not follow through, shockingly enough.

Spot them, but don't bro assist them? Kinda douchey to interview the guy before you spot. Norwegians are too shy to ask randoms for a spot, so I've only been asked once.

just do what he wants you to do and leave it at that. if you asked him for a spot would you want him to tell you how to lift?

Yeah, pretty much this.

I guess you could try to nicely advise that he'll progress faster if he "mixes in" sets with less weight/more ROM.

I basically gave him a lift off and got out of the way same as I would ask from a spotter....

...I would never tell someone how to lift, i just am always curious of their response if I asked how come they don't do full ROM. They can do whatever they like for all I care.

He wasnt a bro just some skinny normalish looking dude who no one has ever helped ever etc. If anything I felt like saying check out SS the book/site and if he ignored me oh well but if he did I feel like I would have done my good deed for the day

You misunderstood. His exercise was just loading the leg press. That's 16-20 reps he just did!

Saw a guy deadlifting with a 35 and a 25 on one side and a 45 and a 25 on the other. He did a ******** of reps, too, it wasn't he caught his mistake or something, that was totally his workset. I don't get it.

The best trolls are the ones who produce ambiguous content. You never know if it's real or not. A mixed strategy, so to speak.

And speaking of, Lyle already pwned me on Facebook. Christ.

Counter troll in like a month when he's forgotten about it imo.

pullup kid was an obvious troll, the part where he "curls" with the sunglasses gave it away lol.

thremp is still alive?! i thought for sure communist sklansky went to his house and forced him into a goulag where he labored for a few hours then lost the will to live.

This **** bugs me sometimes. I'll be squatting 185-205 at or below parallel and some guy will come up and do 225-275 half squats. I probably couldn't even do half squats @ 275 but that's not the point

Is there a calculator somewhere that will convert below parallel squat weights to half and quarter squat weights?
