But seriously man, looking good at 163. I have been on my phone for 6 months so could never really look at these pics. Unlike other posters, I think 5'11 163 lean, is pretty good. I mean there a few boxers that come in around that weight, nobody says lolskinny. Just this forum. This forum is microcosm of American society in so many ways. Where bigger is better. And nomzies and tv is the dominant subject of conversation.

I thought about eliminating this fourth day at the gym and only doing 3 days of Texas Method, but my cardio health is too important to me. We have bros in here that can squat 300+ but can't run a mile. Dafuq they going to outrun the zombie horde? Not meant to criticize those in Redding. Obv those bros have full armoury at their disposal.

Nice job on all the PRs, and on the low BF.

Once your bench plateaus, if your form is very good, its going to be hard to make gains quickly, especially if you eat like a bird. I'm guessing there's a high likelihood your form can improve, but sometimes its hard to figure out how to make that happen.

Yes, you make a fair point. I think that if I search deep down, I haven't mentally committed to eating like a big boy. I like being this lean, and thus far I've continued to see satisfactory strength gains such that I feel little motivation to bulk bulk bulk. But I know there will come a point where my lifts will stall, even the almighty bench, and there will only be so much I can do by improving form before I need to make the transition to eating more.

I was having some technical issues with my bench a few months ago. I had a guy who benched >750 shirted and >500 raw (220 BW) in the same meet watch my bench 3 times at a different meet as the head bench press judge. I asked him for technical advice and he didnt have any (he just said I was weak off my chest). I also asked a guy who benches in the mid 400s raw and he had no advice. I figured out on my own a minor technical flaw and I benched 22 lbs more in a meet six weeks after the previously mentioned meet.

cliffs/moral of the story - there's basically zero chance some random spotter is going to offer any meaningful form help.

Obv. Note the at the end of my fwiw comment. I took his praise to mean what was obvious when I watched him bench, that my form was much better than his, not that it was actually perfect.

I will get some videos next time I bench. I would actually be thrilled if there were some obvious form corrections for me to make. To add 22lbs over six weeks like you did would be great.

Ehh, you're like a foot taller than he is and that's nothing that can be improved unless you're Assani.

Also, I measured my biceps today a few hours after doing curls - somehow I remembered FakeBusto's measurements at like 16+ inches and was about to shoot myself. Good to see that even though I'm fat, I at least have him on 'cepts.

Too many tears to see it properly.

But, yeah, maybe 16.25? I dno, not high 16 that's for sure. Also not sure how much pump I had at that point - probably should do it right after working out with pump and/or some other day without any chance of pump. I really have absolutely nothing for comparison except my arms are probably my "best thing".

I do a fist pump every time I read Saw's log and realize my hips are functional while his are not. But then the tears start pouring when I look at actual strength numbers. Erryday is Sadderday.

If 16 is big given my size and jellydick weights, perhaps I have had the wrong focus all along and I need to just go full BB/loco style and who cares about getting stronger. Maybe I have the ability to look like I'm strong without actually being strong.

I think 16 is good give your weight and build. I'm like 25lbs heavier than you or something and mine are like 16.75 so it's probably fairly proportional. I still think mine are small though compared to what I'd like them to be
