Keep on with the prepared salads and it will be ok!

Just having one with unbelievably much stuff, and guess how many calories?

Spoiler:
230

The four salads contained less today (were from a different store), so

356 (117x2+122)
328
246 (113+133)
253
230
225
1638 calories

Tomorrow's lunch calorie amount will be a bit uncertain, but will give my best estimate.

Btw, you know the parentheses are smoothies, five a day.

Feeling in the stomach I got a bit less fuel today, but not worse than manageable.

80.8kg! The unrealistically fast drop continues. Now I understand the initial joy people feel when starting to lose weight, and the disappointment when it stalls.

Thought, as you say, fack muscle build, cardio makes me feel more good, but guess there always will be a mix of those two.

80.8kg again. Are we in for the week of no change?

"Finally" it looks I have overloaded my upper body a bit. In for indoor cykling and walking.

Think I'll skip the gym today anyway, work goes so late. Not in for the slipping slope of passivity though!

Not very fun to log calories, imo. Once again we see I'm not that motivated to lose more weight, and that's even good. Somehow have got the picture already. Could just eat as little as possible for still feeling ok, and that last kilogram before 80kg would melt.

Then the weight dropping will definitely be over. Somehow keeping it around 80kg flat makes sense. It's a bit arbitrary number, but coincides with the waist and BMI being as optimal as you really can expect. Having 77.5, 79, 81 or 82.5 as a goal is simply not as "elegant" as 80kg, have never really been a person wanting to be fancy.

"What's your weight?" "-Around 80". That's my kind of thing.

Of course my daily weighing will continue, would guess indefinitely. Then I can have a little less of this, a little more of that, if needed.

Today I've got the feeling I'm ready to move forward. I'm not young and having both got an exercise habit and dropped weigh must have taken its toll, mental energy from other things.

Think this was done for the better, but let's start cleaning up the house.

As the old saying goes, "you can clean your cake and avoid eating it too."

I'm not impressed with my progress, but at least I'm not going backwards. I should be losing at least 2 lbs per week since I'm still in the early part of my weight loss.

Realism hurts

Anyway, think positively. You are not THAT in the beginning, imo. One pound a week is kind optimal, was for me, even if it became just a little more. Have no idea which pace I will have for the last kilogram. But hell, will not let myself "increase" markedly.

Started to clean the house one hour/day yesterday. Let's see how far this carries this time.

First to go are some magazines.

As think I told, have started more cardio. The recumbent bike is a favorite. You can program suitable intervals.

Found today that intervals on the mill are not pace, but incline. Probably a safety thing. Putting maximum incline with slow pace, interesting feeling.

And have seen glances of myself in the mirror, think the muscle part is starting to look ok. Time to look at the endurance.

Maybe "the week of no change" is over?

Think I've found what dropping weight is about. They always say "you shouldn't feel hunger". Yes, you shouldn't feel MUCH hunger, but should be prepared to feel SOME hunger. Put this among the ultimate truths!

Yes, I'm definitely in for cardio now. When walking on the mill I found that the stomach and back muscles contract a bit for every step, clearly felt it with the hand. That must be good. Walking: total body workout.

200 lbs. Put in part of a laminate floor for some good friends on Sunday and am still physically sore. Actually ate way more than I should have yesterday.
