Didn't read your link but I do them pretty regularly. Recently ab training has been entirely in circuit form. Last Friday (which I'm still sore from):

3 rounds, full recovery (4-5 mins) between rounds:
10 strict hanging leg raises, immediately followed by
10 kneeling rollouts, immediately followed by
10 GHD situps

I start with the hardest exercise and progress to the easiest.

Tip: When progressing to standing rollouts, do them facing a wall (start about 5 feet away). Do a standing rollout to the wall. Then move your feet back an inch or two. Do another one. Etc. Will allow you to eventually do standing rollouts in the open.

Knees not straight, not controlling the downward motion, allowing yourself to swing a little, not going high enough. etc.

Slow ponied but yeah, basically watch a video of toe to bars.

So it seems like the general consensus is just what I thought: diet coke and coffee probably aren't going to hinder any kind of a cut. k.

T2B are legit burners. Watch Christmas Abbott do them from last week. yum.
