Monte,

I agree with Weasel. I also have strong confidence you'll hit #2 and #5. #4 also possible as you're making solid progress with bench as well.

6. Don't get too fat (currently almost too fat at ~218)
1. Success, would now like 475 by end of the year
2. Paused 275 a few weeks ago. Will hit 285 in the next month or two whenever I attempt it
3. Soon.jpg. Hitched 605 a month ago and failed at the knee last week. Might get pissed and just pull 605 conventional before I get it sumo
4. Getting better but still terrible
5. LOL
6. Still weigh ~218. Still almost too fat

Press 105 kg (231.5 lbs) Nope, probably not going to happen this year
Bench 145 kg (319.7 lbs) I can hope
Total 592.5 kg (1306.2 lbs) in competition Possible, will see in December
Get under 220 lbs Not sure
Not sure about the under 220 lbs one. USAPL changed their weight classes. There is no longer a 100 kg class, but there is a 105 kg class. For strength reasons I should stay near the 105 kg weight, but for health I should probably go lower. Not sure what I am going to do.

I didn't set any goals for 2014. No wonder I am spinning wheels.

Feeling good though.

Eh. My past squatting issues aside, this seems incompatible with getting to/maintaining 190. I'd be pretty stoked to get there, though.

See above, but I guess there's a chance. I haven't benched heavy in quite a while, though, so I'm interested to see how things go towards the end is this Juggernaut cycle.

I do feel pretty comfortable about deadlift, though.

lol me. I might have a shot at 225x5 bench and 445x5 DL.. that's about it. resolutions are st00pit.

- No injuries from doing stupid stuff
- Sled/tire flip work
1) Done.
2) Calipers say I'm 12% bf (lol) so maybe I have a shot at both once the nagging hamstring **** goes away.
3) Might not be terribly far off, probably like 15-20 pounds away from 275.
4) Doin it. Back gettin thick.
5) Lolololol obviously this was never happening. 2-3 hamstring tweaks.
6) Did quite a bit of what i wanted to with this, particularly carries although they weren't listed.

Obviously I get all the effort ones. Just to readjust for the November meet under the huge assumption that I keep recovering well from hamstring stuff, maybe 10kg lower on squat and dl to be realistic:

200kg squat
110kg bench
200kg dl

But we look forward, and I fully believe 2014 will be an incredible year with lots of incredible IRL things. More importantly though, I will start the year off with some surgery on January 21st, and then spend the first few months rehabbing and getting back some basic strength. What I hope to accomplish in 2014 is very simple. I want to PR in everything:

* squat 440
* bench 330
* deadlift 480
* BF % < 12%

Accomplishing that would make me supremely happy.

Maybe some more unlikely goals that I may keep in the back of my mind are the following (but by no means will I be disappointed by not getting any of them):

REACH goals:
* squat 460? deadlift 500? bench 350?
* BF % < 10% (new log title )
Well, I don't think this was a bad thought, except I SEVERELY underestimated the recovery from surgery. I thought I'd pretty much recover in February, get strength back in March, and start cutting in April. LOL. Started cutting in July. Strength is so-so.

Absolutely murdered the bench goal. 375? sure. . Everything else is probably a serious reach goal now, since I'd want to do them simultaneously. As in, I could get the strength goals without cutting. And I suck at cutting, so that goal is a reach goal by itself.

-Don't get bored. Do something that's not lifting weights if I need to like walking, hiking, strongman, cycling, swimming, just something new so as not to get bored.
1) Quit dumb 10k KB thing, but I did more than half iirc and it did get me going.

2) Bw thing was no problem.

3) Lifting weights. Got a lifetime snatch pr. Can probably PR CJ and PR total this year too. Hoping to get my squat to back around my old PR of 220 by the end of the year, too.

4) bf is around 15%. Probably like 17% now, but was ~15% when I was ~243 imo.

5) Not bored. Weightlifting is fun. I'll still switch to something else if I get bored (unlikely) or injured (eh). This will be a good ongoing challenge though. Hopefully I head into next year very strong and can set some cool 2015 wl goals.

I don't think they're too far-reaching of goals but it's going to take work. Getting my presses up 25 and 15 lbs is going to be a nightmare. I'm really going to need to put in extra time to get there but I'll try.

I can do a 15 minute mile without my heart rate at 185+ BPM, more like 150 now, which is also pretty good. Should see what pace I can handle now.

On the sides? You are probably referring to your serratus, not your abs.

Well there are no abs on your "sides"

The obliques are one big muscle that has no striation or linea to highlight it, so it won't stand out until your abs in general do unless they're freakin' huge and create an Adonis belt look without low body fat.

Sorry, took it quite literally rather then "from the side" or "on the edges"

Would be cool to see some data on how close people got to their goals, etc. Seems like the trend is ppl miss most of their goals and barely make a couple
