Nintendo announced the successor to the DS yesterday, and it is supposedly a 3D screen and will be able to play all DS games. Will be revealed at E3.

I would post theoretically about Saturn games - I own one along with NiGHTS but have only actually played that game for 5 minutes total, and the system itself for I'd say less than 3 hours. Those mid-90s 3D graphics give me goosebumps though...Burning Rangers, Panzer Dragoon Saga, and Shining Force 3 are all games I would like to play some day in theory.

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic tonight. Whenever someone talks about MW2, this is the game I think about.

And yeah, I was the kind of guy who would put the MW2 CD in the CD player to listen to the soundtrack.

i have to say i dont like NIGHTS that much like it was hyped back than. it def a good game and very innovative but imo not that great like it was reviewed (in video game magazines).
i owned shining force 3.1 once (was released in germany) and i think its one of the best rpg/strg games ever. sadly i sold it. they now sell for lots of moniez.

When I bought God of War 3 I got a promotional $10 future discount from Amazon towards a video game. I just happened to check my email to clean it out and saw that the discount is only good until April 30.

I just bought BC2 from that other thread with the promo code. Fallout 3 has always been lingering in the back of my mind.

Any suggestions for other games? I strictly play on PS3. I prefer new games that have just been released, but it doesn't appear that any good games are coming out in the next 29 days. It can't be a preorder after April 30 either as it has to be shipped by April 30.

I liked Oblivion a lot better than Fallout 3, but Oblivion has been out for a while. You can get the GOTY edition for like $30, and it has easily 100 hours of content.

I was thinking about that. I played the demo and had fun with it. I also see Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, which is like $19.99 so I could almost get that for free.

I'll have to think about it. Fallout 3 is bugging me though. It's like I want to try it out, but I'm not sure how much I'd like it, but I want to wait until New Vegas comes out, but I want to try Fallout 3 now. haha

Also to add if anyone comes in with other suggestions is that I'm NOT interested in any sports games.

I'm going to trade in Bioshock 2 today at GameStop, but I can't figure out what I'm going to get with the credit. I've been thinking about Dragon Age, but I don't know if I have the time. I'm a fan of the Final Fantasy series, that might be a contender. I have MW2 on 360 if I want to play a shooter...

I might have to go for something like XBox live points or a new controller.

xbox live marketplace has a bunch of deals this weekend. i bought 1 month of gold for $1 decent since i obtained the free month for 2 months, so i have the next 3 months for $1 woot woot

I'm really torn on a game to get with my $10 discount. I'm leaning so hard to Fallout 3 because it just seems like a different concept.

I've never really been a huge fan of super hero games. I played the demo of Batman and liked it, but I wasn't overly impressed to the point where I couldn't wait to play it.

I also played the Metal Gear Solid demo and liked it, but for me it had a steeper learning curve with sneaking around. I tend to like running right into the middle of things and not sit back. I'm impatient in a way.

And other than those 3, I really don't know of any other game that I'd be interested in playing in the next 28 days. I'm not much a fan of Bioshock as playing on my PC has ruined the experience of the game for me.

So yeah, I should just go and buy Fallout 3.

i would hate to overpay in a store when i could order online, but im not opposed to buying one in store either.

I loved Fallout 3. I had tried Oblivion, it was alright, but I can't really get into the fantasy setting. I think that was my favorite part of Fallout, being set in DC and going to places I've been to irl. I think I put over 100 hrs into the game and it's one of the few games that I finished the main storyline in. I usually get bored and move to a new game before finishing. There's still tons of sidequests that I never got to. Looking forward to New Vegas too.

I ended up buying Fallout 3. I probably shouldn't admit it, but the other day my mom asked me if I wanted anything for Easter. I told her no. She asked if there were any games I wanted. I told her she didn't have to buy me anything. Then today I told her I had a game on the way (Battlefield) and that I had another $10 discount to Amazon that I needed to use by the end of April so I was thinking about getting another game. She told me to tell her how much both of them were and she'd transfer money to my account (she works at a bank). So I'm getting 2 games, Battlefield and Fallout 3 for free.

And just to be fair, my mom bought my sister a Wii + Wii Fit for Easter.

I would say GTA IV is a pretty damn good game for PS3 too, first game I got for PS3 and it has a lot of replayability if you're creative enough/like thinking of new ways to destroy s***.
