The disc also happens to be phenomenal, with extras and such that I might never get a chance to see again without paying $200 or whatever years down the line.

I wish there were an "I just want to keep and pay for this movie" option that would alleviate all ethical ambiguity.
to me keeping it and paying the fee is ethically responsible, although keeping it and selling it for like $90 would be kind of a dirtbag move.

PSN doing "10 for '10"...10 different PSN games at half-price or so for the next few days. The highlight for me is Braid, temporarily at $7.49. Definitely jumping on that.

Does 360 have the ability to stream files from your PC like the PS3 and if so how do I do it and would it do HD episodes of TV shows?

Critter Crunch is a steal at $3.50.
I also picked up Braid, $15 was too much imo. $7 is juuust right.

Searched and didn't see that this was already posted, Rockstar Classics Free Download of GTA and/or GTA2.

It didn't work with firefox for me at first, used IE and had to fill the form twice but they send a link to download (can use firefox for that) via email.

Unfortunately it puts you on their mailing list, meh its free.

Polo grounds should be interesting to play on. 279ft to left, 257ft to right and 500ft to center.

I'm more excited to play Forbes Field. If you've ever been to Pittsburgh, part of the wall still stands where it was, and homeplate is encased in its original location at the U. of Pitt in Posvar Hall.

I need some advice.

My favorite genre of games is fighting. I typically don't like games that are based on campaigns, missions, etc. but if a game is captivating enough I will play it. For example, I typically don't like RPGs but really enjoyed FF7 and Chrono Trigger. But I hate games like Diablo 2 and games where it takes a lot of time to level up.

Will I like these games?

Unreal tournament
Quake I/II/III
GTA San Andreas
GTA Vice City
Flight Simulator
Metal Gear Solid
Final Fantasy Tactics
Secret of Mana

Not all of them. If you are like me you (and you sound like it) you might like FF Tactics, Quake (on a pc) and Metal Gear Solid 4/Uncharted 1 & 2.

A friend of mine asked me if I ever heard of the Ghostbusters game. I downloaded the demo, and I have to say, I am overly impressed. So much so that if I ever want a new game and there isn't a big hit game out, I am going to buy it.

Graphics are amazing, the original cast is in the game, and they look awesome. And you can't forget the awesome music.

The demo was fun. There were a few "oh ****" moments when a ghost jumps out of nowhere. And there was a scare factor when you're making your way through a maze of bookshelves, and you're just waiting for a ghost to jump out at you.

It's worth a download of the demo just to see how cool the game is. Also, the marshmallow man is in it and the after-demo video trailer shows him, and he looks amazing as well.

ItalianFX, if you own a 360 as well you should play it on there instead. The graphics are significantly better...not that you would ever know it without comparing, but they are.

Yeah I do have a 360, it's not hooked up. I've been enjoying the PS3 more than I ever enjoyed the Xbox, but then again, I only really had sports game for my xbox and guitar hero.

Ghostbusters goes way beyond crappy licensed game. That and Batman: Arkham Asylum were my biggest surprises of the year.

Good thing. I expected both to be terrible. Both were great games instead.

I just moved out of my apartment, and my roommate took his PS3 with him. I have a 360, but now I have a few blu rays that I can't play along with a Netflix subscription that sends blu rays. I have a 46" Samsung 120Hz 1080p TV, and I'm not excited about moving down to standard DVD's. So I picked up a PS3 of my own.

It's a pretty cool machine. I never played around with his much, all I used it for was blu rays. He had one of the original 40GB versions. I got the new 250GB slim version. The only feature that's missing that I remotely care about is that they removed the "Install other OS" option, but I don't really have the time or inclination to mess around with Linux on the PS3 - as cool as I think that would be. I like the smaller profile a lot, though.

I bought Bioshock 2 for PS3 (even though I played the first one for 360). I'm also planning on buying God of War III. That was half of my justification for buying the system in the first place. So far Bioshock 2 has been pretty fun. It plays very similarly to the first game. If you set it to hard, the Big Daddy's can be challenging; but it's only a function of running out of ammo.

I haven't even unpacked my 360, and I'm not sure I'm going to for a while. Since the PS3 now has Netflix, I doubt the 360 will come back out of storage until I have a Halo 3 or Bomberman party.

i also have a 46" samsung 120hz 1080p tv. is the 120hz completely useless on yours? i like the live video effect it has, but any normal-speed motion is choppy as hell and completely ruins anything i've ever tried to watch with it, so i just leave that feature turned off. seems like a waste.
