I already posted this on a video game forum but was hoping someone here might have experience with this.....
I was hoping someone could help me answer this question. I purchased Madden 2011 for Wii from the EA Store. They sent me a copy listed as Madden NFL (Bilingual) Wii. The information on the game case is in English and French. Is it standard to send bilingual copies?
The game is still in the packaging and I want to list it on Ebay. Can I be confident that the winner of the auction will be able to play in English only....the same version they would buy in stores in the US? Does anyone have any experience with bilingual Wii games?
FWIW...i typed in the upc on ebay and it's the same as the normal game.
Here is my chat log with EA LIVE chat....(still not 100% on it being like a normal copy)

xxxxxxx: Hi, I purchased a copy of Madden 11 for the Wii from EA. It's listed as a bilingual copy (english and french i think). will the game play like a normal copy bought from a store in the United States...or will every aspect of the game be displayed in both languages?
BARTON: In the game you will be able to play in both language, if you wish to play in English then you can play.
xxxxxxx: Ok...so they could play it in English only...just like a normal copy for the United States?
xxxxxxx: That's my only question
BARTON: Okay
BARTON: Thank you for contacting us at Electronic Arts today.
BARTON: Bye and take care.
BARTON: Have a wonderful day."
