i saw a growlithe 2 nights ago. tossed a razz and two ultra balls but it broke out then ran. slightly disappointed. later that night checked my pokedex and realized that was the first one i had every seen and i started to cry.

I've only seen and caught two growlith. My most seen is Zubat at 103 and drowzee at 88.

Hatched a Growlithe a while back, never seen one in the wild. Like every gym around me has an Arcanine at the top though, wtf

It's never not worked for me since I got it last week after they cracked the unknown6 thing. They update it daily lol

Wow I thought Growlithes were common. Probably caught around 30. I have two 1000+ Arcanines.

Yeah I've caught over 40. In fact I just caught a 737cp 83% IV. It will make a decent Arcanine.

was in central london and the variety of stuff you see is so refreshing, near my house it's literally 95% pidgeys, rattatas and drowzees. saw my first Ryhorn, saw some nidoran male and nidorinos and pollywags among others, not the most exciting stuff but i was ready to quit after so many of the same pokemon.

I've seen 2 and hatched 2 eggs, I have 32 candies.

Anyone know if nidoran gender is related to trainer gender? I see a lot more male and gf sees more female.

Growlithe are fairly rare for me as well, was happy to pick up a couple during my spree yesterday. Still only halfway to an evolve on that one.

Still have plant AIDS. I'd like to know exactly what I walked through to avoid next time. At least it doesn't itch.

I've just started trying to do some gym battles - I'm not very good yet and don't have a fantastic stable of Pokemon, but it's fun to try. I have a very basic question that I'm sure is dumb, but I'm just a little confused about how the coin rewards work.

As an example, I went walking in a park today and captured two gyms. I claimed the 10 coin reward after the first gym. After the second, there was no additional reward - looks like I had to wait the 21 hours. I held both simultaneously for a short time.

I know you can get credit for holding as many as 10 gyms per day, but how does this work as far as getting extra coins? In the case above, would I have had to just hold off on claiming the first 10 and then have 20 waiting for me after the second gym capture? If so, would the coin reward disappear if I lost the gyms before claiming the coins?

I know it's a totally basic question, but hey, I'm confused.

Yup, you have to wait. You can claim once a day (technically one every 21 hours, but you get the idea) and you should claim only when you are comfortable with the bounty you will reap.

I think I should be able to take both gyms near my casino each night now that I'm on my new schedule and have a decent stable of Pokemon. Would work out to 100 coins per week. No way I hold them during the day but not many other people are walking around a deserted mall at 3 am. Not super but would help defray the cost of incubators. Gotta hatch all the eggs when I do my 12 hour sessions. Still need a Lapras among other things.

I bet now that I caught one in the wild, my next big 10k hatch will be a Snorlax.
