So this happened yesterday when I checked on my 5k egg that was about to hatch. First time I checked it I saw 5km/5km and was wondering how it wasn't hatching. Checked it again and it saw this:



Googled and there are a couple Reddit threads with people reporting the same - 5k egg about to hatch that turns into 7k/10k with the butter message.

I closed the app and reopened to find a cubone in my recents.

Anyone else see this?

I have the same thing.

I stopped catching Drowzees after I evolved one into a Hypno. Waste of time.

Never seen a magikarp in the wild but have hatched them from eggs. I rarely see any water types even when I'm around water.

Drowzee's can definitely be useful. I consistently find 500-600+ CP Drowzees that will turn into 1100-1200 Hypnos. Good for leaving in Gyms

You used poketrackers right? And bought coins? Not judging either, just curious . Sick that you don't have a dragonite yet, didn't think it would be one of the last people catch/get.

I still don't have a lapras... and I've only found 2 charmanders.

I started using GoRadar a few days ago in TO. I think I had about 130 at that point but yeah very helpful for finishing. The 3 main cities Ive played are very good complements to each other. I only had like 30 drowzee candies before TO. And at the st.simon beach I finished magnemite and voltorb and their evolutions in like 30 min it was littered with them there. Hell yeah I buy coins I gotta have all eggs on hatch at all times haha.

-charmanders- check GoRadar and see where they're popping up. In both Chattanooga and Toronto they've only frequently popped up in a few particular parks. Otherwise quite rare ime.

3 here, and only 1 Squirtle and 1 Wartortle. Bulbasaurs I do okay around here, that's the only one I have any confidence I'll be able to evolve the entire line.

So disappointed today. Finally went for my first gym battle. I got the gym down to zero, saw it turn white, and then when I tapped on it, it was a different team's color.

Almost level 24, never seen a dratini much less a dragonite and I think I've only seen/caught 84 Pokemon. No add ons used and haven't spent any money.

Yeah, I'm not taking a chance on any of those sites anymore. I used pogobag and pokeadvisor maybe a half-dozen times each.

Guess it's manually entering things on silphroad from now on.

Yeah, I have seen mention of some local hotspots for specific Pokemon I'll be trying out over the next couple of weeks, I'm excited to see if the Charmander one is legit. I stumbled on the Ponyta park before I saw it mentioned on Reddit but that one is certainly legit. But I'm not using any other site to try to hunt.

I got a charmander as my starter a month ago and haven't seen a single one since then

Of course I post this and not two hours later, I flip on the game in my apartment to see a Squirtle on my radar. Go wander into the parking lot and sure as ****, there it is.

136 is sick, I was in Toronto this weekend definitely a great place for pokestops. Surprised you don't have a porygon though, they don't seem that rare, I have 5!

There is a spot 200 yards from my house that occasionally spawns Charmanders but...

Never seen a Bulbasaur or Squirtle and never hatched one.

almost out of pokeballs, luckily my campus at UWaterloo is a sweet place to farm. plus dont have to waste data!

DC Three will happen tomorrow. On zero sleep. I get off work at 3 am and think that crashing for like 2-3 hours will be worse than just staying up. I've got plenty of caffeine tablets and once it's daylight I should be fine.

New this trip is that I have info on landmarks that might be Pikachu and Vulpix hotspots. I finally caught my first Pikachu Friday night and have only hatched Vulpix, so I need a lot of both to evolve. I'll also be spending time at the Tidal Basin and Chinatown, in addition to the zoo and mall/Smithsoneon region.

It's supposed to be overcast but low 90s and humid. I'll remember sunscreen and buy incubators to hatch more eggs. After this I'm going to stick to more local hotspots for specific monsters I need, assuming Reddit info on them is correct. We'll see how long I can keep going tomorrow, but it is my weekend so I'll have time to rest up before I work again.
